This garbage needs to go next contract

 

A fury of GS went out tonight. I put in for several and got nothing. Then another batch came out, and as I was in Arcos trying to put in for the ones I wanted it glitched out and everything was gone. Now one of the GS is showing up on my schedule but I haven't been contacted. I don't auto accept.

1- Tomorrow is a X day. For the GS trip, tomorrow is a DH. When I run my time card, it says I'm only getting 2 hours of extra pay. Normally I credit the min, not the DH time. I'm also only getting a PR not a PB.
2- I'm on call on Monday, I fly one leg, DH the second home.
3- Can I see how contact was recorded for this trip?

ETA- Duty pilot is saying I have to fly it. He said ranking batched trips is essentially an auto accept, and they don't have have contact me, and I'm obligated to fly it. I explained it glitched and I didn't even want this trip. He said he couldn't see what I put into Arcos to verify my story and I'd have to call crew scheduling.

 

Any rotation pays each days block/dh/MU on the day the duty period reports. If that total is less than 2:00 then you will get 2:00 as min duty credit. For your scenario with a first day DH-only on an X day, if the DH is under 2 hours then 2:00 is all you’ll get above guarantee. All the rotation credit will pay on the last day, which in your case is a LC day so all that pay is lost towards reserve guarantee.

Only 1 X day was violated so you only earn 1 PB day. If the rotation releases before 1500 you will only see a PR on your schedule, not a full PB day.

 

Thanks for answering. So what about the fact I wasn't contacted? Duty pilot and CS are saying I have to fly it. CS is showing I acknowledged it. I didn't, it glitched. I hadn't even put in for the trip officially. It was one I didn't want.

 

It didn't glitch out. Sounds like you were in the acknowledge phase of ARCOS, not the accept phase.
When you put in your preferences for the trip and hit save during the acknowledge phase, they disappear. It looks just like the accept phase now, there is no thumbs up/down any more.
That was you acknowledging the trip.

You can go back into ARCOS under MY ACCOUNT and see the trips, look at the one you got assigned and see under the STATUS section what you selected.

 

Do you have auto acknowledge? All you did is accept according to the duty pilot.

 

This happened to me a couple months ago. I was just about to reject an awarded GS for the next morning (couldn’t make the commute) , ARCOS did a weird refresh glitch thing and everything was gone. Trip was on my schedule despite 100% I did not click anything other than “Details”. CS said you ack’d it you fly it. Pilot assist said something looked weird about the audit trail (whatever that means) while connecting me to the duty pilot. He said I had to get base chief pilot on call to remove it or do a UTC. Base chief killed it and my base chief called the next day and was chill about it.

 

When are YS short calls awarded? Are they done before or after 2nd day trip coverage is run?

 

Next day SC are done at 1100E. Farther out should be with PCS.
