I submitted for SC on all my RES days and got 5 awarded in one run a few days ago. For February. Never had them do that before.

But the SC is an assignment. They don't have to award you a GS if you already have a RES assignment on the same day (including SC.)

FWIW I'm citing SRH pg 49:

"A reserve pilot will be awarded a same-day GS without regard to a reserve assignment already on their schedule for the next two days, i.e., a reserve rotation, short call, or YS award.

o Similarly, a reserve pilot will be awarded a next-day GS without regard to a reserve assignment already on their schedule for the following day."

I'm currently struggling to find the PWA reference for this, but I'm quite sure it exists.
I'll have to check the PWA because I had a similar situation last night where I acknowledged GS and was subsequently rejected because they did not want to drop the SC the next day (or the automation wouldn't let them). Apparently keeping someone on SC on a 1 day bucket was more important than filling a 3 day GS and then sending it out of base.

Bidding for SC's has been a thing since March bid period 2024....see Scheduling Alert 24-01: C2019 Implementation – March 2024 Bid Period fro more details.

This happened to me their justification was the SC started at 2358, so it was same day. If any part of the SC is in the same day they will not remove the SC and will remove the next day GS. JFYI

Interesting. I've only ever seen them list morning SC slots (ew) as being up for grabs like that so I haven't ever gotten one that wasn't for the next day.

I always submit a YS early on with all the SC I'll want and let it sit. I always get my SC assignments noon the day prior. This is the first time they award me multiple SCs in advance. They're all evening SC too

Check reserve open time in iCrew to see what short calls are available for pre-bidding. If you have a YS in that matches any of those (date, time, and days available) then you'll get them awarded early. First SC run for the following month is on the 19th, then they stop running it until a couple of days before the bid month starts. SC runs are all at 11am ATL time, including next day and any future YS that match up with something in reserve open time. The morning prior they post a lot more times in reserve open time for the next day to be available to bid for the 11am SC assignments.

Ending a trip today as a line holder
Starting 3 days of RES tomorrow

I have blanket greenslips with auto accept ON, auto acknowledge OFF, but I'm getting ARCOS calls for available trips. Is this a glitch or is there something I'm missing?

What would the glitch be? You can still get a GS partially or entirely over LC days. Buyer beware though because that’s type of trip tends to pay very little on top of reserve guarantee.

To add, there are lots of trips that you can get as a GS on LC that scheduling cannot assign you as a LC pilot (1800 protection coming off training/vac/REG day off, 10 hours coming off NFD, etc.

Iim not receiving an ARCOS call for an award to acknowledge. I'm receiving the ARCOS call to accept trips, but my auto accept is on.
