The best thing to do is not use MiCrew once that GS is acknowledged. I’d be trying for suit up pay for showing up for the GS rotation (because I would).

Pilot B had no obligation to be contactable (in rest) up until report.

If Pilot B showed up to find the trip was removed, they'd be due suit-up pay and 1 PB day. (23.U.6.b.2)

As for whether the change in coverage was legal, would take some sleuthing/tickets to figure that out.

Also, Pilot B may be due pay for any other missed slips as a result of this error or omission change. (23.Q.12.c)

You have to use Micrew to sign in. I've had that happen before where I go to sign in and the trip is gone. If it's short notice I call and ask for short term parking and ask them to sign me in because I'm driving now. That hasn't backfired yet and if it does I plan to say I'm at the airport looking for parking so I am due suit up pay.

I like that idea. If MiCrew shows no trip, I would still call to sign in for the GS trip I had acknowledged (and am reporting for), because whatever they say from that point will need to be used in the eventual STS, and their story would have to make sense.

You can call CS and sign in that way. I've also had success not signing in at all.

These are all great points. Thank you. I don't care enough to go to the airport for 2 hours of pay. Maybe a PB day. I've had trips removed or nooped before that were legitimate. No big deal. This is ridiculous though. They admitted on a recorded line it wasn't an error in coverage and it was done to "better utilize reserves." They didn't like that they used a 3 day reserve on a 1 day trip. So after both trips were appropriately covered, as they became known to CS, they decided 12 hours later to illegaly remove the GS and give the 3 day trip to the reserve for "better utilization." They absolutely did it thinking they wouldn't have to pay the reserve GS since there is no trip guarantee for reserves.

New day, new question: Awarded a SC several days out from a YS, robocall notification about it, but I'm not contactable. Am I responsible for ascertaining the SC award on my own like for white slips, or do they have to call me again when I'm contactable?

If you yellow slipped it, you're responsible for ascertaining an award.

Currently. Should be in PB days 14-15-16 with a PR until late morning on 17th.

SC assigned 1800-2359 on 14th. Zero CNO calls nor anything to Acknowledge in MiCrew. Not gonna touch actual icrew. Tried 3 times calling to get PBs fixed. Disconnected after 30+ on hold all 3 times.

Let's see how this works out. No proper notification not even the legal CNO robocall. Nevermind they effed up PB days again.

Question: Tried to YS on X day. Trip came up that met request but was assigned to a LC pilot (no YS on from him). Does CS have discretion on who they assign it to or should I have been awarded it? It had about 21+ hrs until report time when assigned.
