Default Union update

The company is lying. Would be nice if an injunction for status quo violations would be filed and approved by a court of law.

has there been any update about this?

any comms from the union?

I just fell victim to this.

I was assigned correctly when awarded G#2(where the first PR was made a full PB), worked hard in a reroute into a day off, and they refused to give me that extra payback day and then retroactively start to “add” the PRs instead.

CPO calls, crew assist, and STS coming tomorrow

Yes, the company folded and has returned to the way things were. However, many front line crew schedulers aren't aware of that yet.

Call CS, tell them this, get them to confirm with their supervisor that they've returned to doing it properly, and they should fix it. If not, submit all the reports, but this worked for me yesterday after receiving word from the union that they fixed it.

Wow, if true that's a welcome bit of good news for a change.

Reserve GS question. If I accept a one day GS inside 18hrs, on a long call day, I receive single pay above guarantee correct?

Just saw I had rest assigned for a potential 30/168 violation late next month on reserve. Can they change that later, or did they just kill that reserve block for me with a months notice?

They can, and (flip a coin) will, change that rest.

If they assign you a legal trip that conflicts with that pre-assigned rest, that rest will go "poof" and be newly assigned.

The same is true for bid-for, and awarded, short calls.
