Hilarious! I underlined the word "idea" in my post just to be sure nobody could miss it. Then you quote my post. And I'm the one with the reading comprehension problem? Too funny. Here's my post again for you to re-read...since you didn't the first time:

This is the problem with some of the ALPAoids. The first thought is to defend the empire at all costs, rather than stopping and thinking about the wisdom of the status quo. What would you and padre have said if it came to light that DPA was taking legal advice from an unlicensed lawyer? Would your first thought be to defend that concept?

So maybe after this AE and ATL 767 closes we should rename 7ER and 765 to 767 and 764?

And yet you say you are "too humble to criticize individuals". I am having a really hard time figuring out how your behavior can coexist with this pious rhetoric. |

I get it now. Apparently, in your world, it's OK to yell FIRE in a crowded theater, so long as you then say "Oh, nevermind...." once everyone is standing outside. Thanks for the clarification.
I'm glad Bar is yelling. Somebody needs to. |

Carl, let me try one more time. I've highlighted your false statement. Please show me ANY post where I defended the idea of an unlicensed lawyer giving us legal advice. All I did was point out yet another APC allegation from the usual ALPA bashers that turns out to be a lie.
And this is the problem with some of the ALPA haters. The first thought is to change the subject, cloud the issue, and let the lie that was previously posted go uncorrected. It says volumes about character. I do not consider myself to be an "ALPA basher" or "ALPA hater." I've read all I can find on Dave Behnke and our Key Men. I believe that they would have similar concerns to the ideas expressed on alter ego airlines and outsourcing. If I "hated" ALPA it would be easy enough to leave the association then raise the issues of dues apportionment, or advocate for an alternative representation solution. That is not where this is going. 98% of what our union does is very good work and they do an excellent job. It might surprise you to learn who my source was on the attorney not being a member of the Bar was ... the attorney himself! A mistake which I hastened to correct. Aside from that I am a former ALPA volunteer, and voting dues paying member in good standing. |
