More cdos will probably mean more short layovers.12 15 hours.
No more longer layovers like 18 to 30. That will make for some tough trips. And more efficient. Don't forget if you have acdo you probably can't green slip and can't commute if you have many do I bet they don't go that senior. It will reduce commutable trips to.
Please be aware of this

I have a high time 1 day trip as a line holder. If I use a payback day will I be paid the full value of that trip? Or is the trip dropped with no pay?

Paid in full and you can pick up another trip via a WS or GS for double or triple pay on the same day.

I'm not a smart man. How is that possible and why would the company want them?

The increase in 30 hour layovers caused a increase in system wide credit. I don't know but suspect CDO's might reduce that credit. CDO's themselves also have a lot of credit so not sure what offsets what.

Thanks. Know this was discussed a few weeks ago but couldn't find it.

The update from some councils today made it sound as though the MEC has not yet decided whether memrat will be required on this LOA. Opinions from the line pilot seem to go both ways. Some feel we have elected our reps to make those sorts of decisions, while others feel that an LOA this large that affects multiple sections of the contract should be put before the membership.

If you have strong feelings one way or the other on the issue PLEASE CONTACT YOUR REPS AND MAKE YOUR OPINIONS KNOWN!!

If the scope is what has been stated it should go to mem ratification. Some aspects might Need to implemented right away for obvious reasons. I guess they could do that on a temp basis until ratified.

For S2 pass days we get 6 annually however, does it matter how many family members travel on the day?? Can 4 family members travel on a S2 day and only count as one S2 event?

Each family member gets 6 s2 flying days.

New airframes only or retrofitted to all airframes?

If what 80 pointed out is true about a higher ADG then the offset could be there...still need to see the whole agreement to know for sure.

Something wildly ignored here on the forum. There will always be some items that reduce pilot needs and some items that increase pilot needs. You have to determine the net effect.

At fNWA these covered 2 duty days and were 2 short legs. A turn like you describe could be worth 11hrs credit for 3 flight and less than 12 on duty.

Stands ups were NOT worth 11 hours at NWA, as they were considered a single duty period. They triggered 1 for 2 (1 for 1 3/4 for part of the stand up), and so were worth around 6 hours a piece.
