While a true statement in the legalistic sense, it would be a hard sell to any crew who ever got a passenger compliment that was sent to Delta and includes "Thank you Delta."

On a much less controversial note, I just ordered some new shirts from A Cut Above. I cannot overemphasize how great their shirts are (especially after hearing all the dissatisfaction with the new official vendor). I never have to iron, they are very comfortable, and they have a huge array of sizing options for the perfect fit. I had a question about my order so instead of buying online I called and the salesperson on the other end gave me an additional 10% discount. Go figure.

Which shirt do you buy? If I remember there are 3 different fabric options. I’ve been considerig buying from them for awhile but haven’t done so yet. I’ve heard some complaints about big buttons? Any thoughts on that?

Just bought one. Buttons are a little bigger but if you have a tie on you never see them anyways. Fits great, I got the tailored fit and I’m not fat but not skinny.

Fitted tropo with eyelets and 1" tailored torso. I lift weights so I order an upsized shirt and taper the sides of the shirt, really fit guys would probably do better with the 2" taper but I like my beers. They fit really well and require nothing other than washing. Disadvantage is durability, but I feel like I earn enough to buy a couple new shirts every year. Worth it to not have to ever iron.

When DL accommodates a pax on an interline airline (AA was just restored after a break) I'm sure someone has written a "thank you delta" letter so what's the point?

I thought the same about trip length but a quick look at open time showed you could pair almost any two trips and stay under the 79:30 ALV.

I just looked at all the open time in SEA. I saw one trip at 39:45, a few at 39:51 and most at 40 or above. There are now some carryover trips but those have come back in the PCS process. There was no way to stay under 79:30. The only thing I can think of is you were looking at block time and not total credit.

Your correct, I must have looked at block time. Almost all look over 40 credit hours. Going to be expensive breaking a lot of those trips up!

Why yes, yes it is! They were trying to avoid credit time and now they're going to have credit time out the wazzu. Seems like somebody should have figured out what was going to happen with the designated ALV.

Or you know you could just look in PBS and see all the unblockable/unbuildable people which is the exact scenario.

Jury Duty

I have not had jury duty is a long time. It looks like I have to tell Delta ahead of time and they are going to build a schedule around my jury duty. Is there a way to maximize time off bidding reserve or line holder? Seems like the answer is no???
