Just curious, who is the bigger base, CVG or MEM? I'm guessing CVG is bigger. But I really don't know for sure.
If anything, I would guess MEM would close because Cincy has more Fortune 500 companies. I dont know ... |

I've heard of several other grievances as well... up to and including North guys suing to be award DTW 777 since it's "replacing" 744 flying. Ugh.

The North has a handful of senior guys who enjoy flushing good money on lawyer fees. Fortunately, they haven't had much luck as of late. I wouldn't worry too much about the suit, but wouldn't be surprised if they tried another frivolous suit again. The funny thing is they don't have the spine to show the names behind the suit. Real classy group of guys.

That place has been in constant re-wind now since the merger, and MEM has remained more or less stable. Plus MEM can off-load ATL. DTW doesn't need off-loading from CVG. Just a guess... Nu |

Yeah... I remember hearing of them in the past. Just obnoxious! I guess there's gotta be at least a couple idiots that like to pull crap like that.

Exactly, and the man did say 'former' base. PDX may have some traction, but I would bet BOS or DFW. Certainly not MSY, unfortunately:(

Nu However, based on the way ACL said it and his proclivity for DFW, my money is on additional flights to DFW. I can only dream that they would reopen a base there, but I'll settle for more flights. |

Just a guess... Nu After the DC-9 goes, and that's happening sooner than later, what is left in MEM? Also, CVG isn't part of the arrivals into ATL, so it is easier to get in and out than MEM. Who knows, I'm biased because I grew up a stones throw away from CVG. And when the largest employer in the region closes, wow .. that's going to kick the good people of the Ohio Valley in the jimmy. |

Yeah, Cincy has lost flights, especially regionals. CVG has had AE vacancies on every AE.
