Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Looks like the Inverse Assignment question was answered.
To make it really simple:
Long Call is not rest. To be legal you must look back and see an intervening rest break. SC put you on rest prior to the window.

Anyone using a Droid X with Verizon out there? The old Treo 650 isn't cutting in nowadays and I'm thinking of upgrading after 6 years. Wondering how it works with I-crew and Delta Net. Also got tons of I-tunes stuff and heard it's kind of a pain to get them all working on a Droid.

Got a frantic call from scheduling last night at 1830. When my wife brought me the phone the following conversation ensued:
Me: Hello?
Scheduler: I have a trip for you, advise ready to copy
Me: Uhhh.....I think there's some mistake, I'm off today.
Scheduler: we are in inverse assignment for MEM and you are being junior assigned.
Me: uhhh......uhhhhhh.......hmmmmm......uhhhhh
Scheduler: (interupting my Uhhhh's) it is a two day trip, rotation XXXX, reports ASAP, returns back to MEM tomorrow evening at 1625. I'll show you notified. How quickly will you be able to report?
Me: uhhhhh......uhhhhhh?! Is this a DC-9 trip? I didn't know we went to MCI direct from MEM.
Scheduler: Yes, I need to know how long until you are at the gate? (emphatically, obviously annoyed at my confusion)
Me: well, uhhhh....There are a couple of issues at play here, 1st of all, I am out sick since I just had back surgery last week. And second of all....I'm not on the DC-9 anymore.....I'm on the Airbus.
Scheduler: Uhhhhhhh........Uhhhhhhhh. Oh, I see that now. Not sure how this happened. Uhhhhhhh......Ok, have a nice night.

A Service Duck. I have now seen it all.
I had a phone call like this from my regional about a month after I quit. They asked me if i wanted some overtime. I said yes and ended up hanging up the phone. I got called back about an hour later asking me how close I was to the airplane. I told the scheduler I wasn't going to show up. She asked, "Why not?" I told her I went to get ready to go to the airport, but I couldn't find my badge. I asked my wife where it was, and she reminded me that I quit a month earlier. I said I was sorry, but the scheduler wasn't too happy.
Really?! I can't believe I've had a standing green slip in for the past couple of years (since I figured out what a green slip was) and 2 weeks after getting off the DC-9 they call me with my 1st one. Well, technically, I guess they called me with a Junior Man assignment, but I would have gotten my 1st GS. I guess that's the way it goes. I'm just surprised they couldn't find anyone to cover the trip.
If you dropped a trip in December, don't worry about profit sharing for this year..........it's too late for December. Your December 15th paycheck is based on November hours flown. If you are at 61 hours accumulated in the month of December, this is not paid until Jan. 15, 2011 so you would be looking at keeping the W-2 higher for 2011 profit sharing.......if we get it for 2011......
