Carl, interesting letter.

I'm going to respond over at the DPA thread...

Its about work rules and hourly wages. Probably as much as some pilots since DCC. Moving on.

Is this an awkward time to be Linda Puchala?

BTW - my answers were questions: "In this scenario am I the First Officer, or Captain?" "Has the Captain told me to get involved?" After getting those clarifications, my answer was "nothing."

Seems like some flight attendants are worried that pilots are going to write them up. The South Flight Attendants know that if we're offering to help with their bag, it is a genuine offer, nothing other than courtesy.

My reply to the same question was, "Is she Hot?":D

If I have CQ today and reserve days starting tomorrow does the same 3 pm schedule check apply as with an off day or am I contactable all day today since I'm technically not off?

Thanks

Edit: just saw in when scheduling calls that the required schedule check is not required on a day you perform training. I assume the , if scheduling were to call me this afternoon or evening for a trip tomorrow there's no obligation to acknowledge it and start the 12 hour clock until midnight.

Yep. You still get that "un trusting" look from some FNWA FA's when you even try to make small talk. As if you have something you are trying to get out of them. I don't get it, but it is what it is, I guess.

NWA FA's have a 80 hour guarantee and it's only 75 for Delta so the NWA FA's get a $2 raise but they give up 5 hours. Doesn't sound like a great deal to me. A lot of South FA's wanted the union and the swing votes were the NWA FA's who voted it against it.

I don't think I've ever heard of a south FA that was below guarantee. There probably are some, but most of the ones I've talked to are flying 90+, unless they were trying to fly minimum.
