Tell that to my friend who is on reserve

Reserve gurus, quick question. I'm on day 7 of a 10 day stint. Am I supposed to be released for 24/7? Are schedulers supposed to put it on my schedule? Can I be used for anything today? Tia

Great. Now we'll expend our negotiating capital to benefit the FAs.

The company will have to cost out any benefits we negotiate and extend them to the FAs to keep them happy--and keep their union at bay. Our dues money hard at work.

Speaking of watering down our negotiating capital...DALPA is already on record advocating for CrewPass for the FAs. why, why, WHY?

Who knows--maybe DALPA will negotiate health insurance for the FAs' cats too, while they're at it.

Dear wise and sage like PCS gurus
I am trying to move a block of off days to different days across the month. IE i am off from the 04, 10-18 and 23-25
I am trying to move the off days of 13,14,15 to the 26, 05, 06. How to i put that into the PCS, if there is a way?
I put the range of 13-15 in the block but then it will not let me enter separate dates. it says DIFFERENT NUMBER OF DAYS IN DATE RANGES.
Thanks
My blocks are 13 blank 15 blank which is fine but the next blocks It will not accept my days as single ones.
thanks again

As I read the contract, you won't be allowed to move the dates like you have listed here. Refer to 12.N.9 for more details.

No, you aren't supposed to be released for a 24 in 7 just because you've worked or been on call the last 7 days. They can deadhead you somewhere today, tomorrow or whenever, it's flight duty that they can't use you for. Also, make sure you didn't have a 24 hr break on a trip in the last 7 days, that counts. They will notify you (or you have to acknowledge it if you check iCrew) when you're assigned a 24/7 break.

What they often do is give you notice of a trip say, tomorrow night, and at the same time give you the 24 hrs off before that trip. That gives you your 24 hrs of time off.

I might be wrong, but under the Delta FA rules, no one has pure reserve. As I understand, the "A" days (availability or reserve days to us) extend a lot further up the seniority list, but even the most junior FA isn't solely on reserve. The most junior FA has scheduled trips, can trip trade and do everything else a senior one can.

You should remind your friend that is on reserve that he/she/it will be a lineholder under the delta system only with a few days on call.

Its true that Delta management has a history of also giving pilot negotiated items to the flight attendants.
However, I think we are better off in the long run if the flight attendants do not have a union.
