Go back and read post 8004. I quoted a narrow portion of one of your posts...that I believed to be inaccurate (still do). I asked if you knew what you were saying to be accurate, so I could correct my input to buddies I'd like to be hired at Delta. You then went off on a bunch of tangents, with a great deal of information that is indeed correct, and which I fully understand (I know that surprises you). I even understand the MANUAL SCORING SYSTEM quite well. If your ego can't accept that you gave some incorrect advice (with good intentions), there's not much I can do about it. The readers have plenty to chew on.
No, I'm not peddling anything. I'm a recent hire (failed one interview and passed my second) trying to help applicants who haven't yet had the luck I had.

I'm sorry Senator I do not recall.
True…….sort of. Its the part of "all things being equal" that you're not getting. Go read post 8003. A trust fund kid at a crappy party school that finishes in 4.0 years does NOT get a net point value higher than a self starter that worked full time or served in the guard and got a harder degree at a harder school but took 5.0 years. While he may have gotten more points for the 4.0 years, he lost points (or didn't get points) for the other things directly related to it. The 5.0 kid may have lost a few points, but those were more than made up for, for a net gain. You simply are not comprehending this concept.
Trying to but you're not listening because you have tunnel vision on one thing despite other things directly related to that thing.
it ABSOLUTELY favors an on-time graduation over a delayed one.
If you know otherwise, correct me.

The application asks the number of years in college and highest degree. I assume if you list the total time it took to complete your undergrad and grad degrees, it will be obvious and not count against you for being 6 years vs 4 years, or whatever the case may be?

It's my understanding that points are never taken from your total score but that points are given to those meeting or having certain things on their app. Should you score enough points you will be offered an interview. 5 years or less gets you so many points but if you did it in more than 5 years, you don't score those points. It's just like being a checkairman, if you are a checkairman then you get some points, if your not a checkairman then it's not held against you, you just don't score the points for having one. It's the entire app they look at and it would appear that not any one single blip on your app will keep you from getting the the invite.

If a 6 year BA degree takes away 2 or 500 or a million points, or if it takes away none but a 4 year BA degree adds 2 or 500 or a million points we're talking about the same thing.
Time to degree is one metric that is part of the scoring system. But in almost every case, factors that effected the time to degree for negative points (or lack of positive points) will have the oppositive effect, quite often in excess, for a net positive.
But I suppose if you are talking to a bushy tailed bright eyed college freshman you could give the borderline irrelevant advice of "its better to finish your degree on time than to delay it for years for absolutely no reason". Apparently there are some kids out there in need of this advice.

So it now seems not only does GPA matter but how long it took to finish college. Do you score points for how many jobs you were working during college to pay for it 20 years ago? Just curious.
Are there any other items of selection we should know about that some might not have thought of?
