Are we getting rid of any 767s or are these all expansion? A well-traveled friend tells me they are getting very tired. I've never been on one myself. Not sure how it would be any different from newer stuff but he also says toward the end of his long Delta flights in the 767 the lavs are particularly disgusting and unusable.
He is going out of his way to travel on the 350 on his next long trip... he's just had enough of the 767s. FWIW, he flies BC and FC exclusively for business and pleasure.

I don’t think we have plans to park any 767ER’s next year. Not sure what lavs being disgusting at the end of the flight has to do with aircraft age. Our flight attendants do not clean them as they do at other airlines. They are disgusting on all our international aircraft after long flights.

Also, the incoming 737-900s and 321s both pay more than the retiring 88s.

True, however they are larger capacity replacements and therefore require fewer pilots to fly a given number of pax all things being equal. Either way that's a management decision though.

Yes, but I believe our mainline jet count will be bigger in 2019 than 2017, yes?
