If you want ATL, I'd recommend the 88. By far the largest category. It pays the same your first year as all the other planes, and if you don't like it, bid off after one year. I flew it for 3 plus; it's got quirks, but it's just an airplane. Some of those who denigrate it never flew it, so take everything with a grain of salt (including anything I type!). Congratulations, and welcome aboard. Delta is a great place to be, and you will enjoy coming to work!

Trying to answer that question is like trying to pick a winning lottery number. Pick the aircraft you would prefer to fly. The crew planning crystal ball is read three times a day and always has a new solution.

A lot of folks are asking about which aircraft will get you to ATL the quickest. The realistic answer is ALL of them are going to be quick! Pick the one that you want to fly based on the trips and schedule (commutability, etc), that you prefer (and that may change too). I would not bid one aircraft over another that I really preferred because it got me to ATL one or two months earlier. All will be quick, and all will be minimal time on reserve as long as hiring continues as it has been. Good luck and welcome aboard!

I know 7ER is shrinking and 73N isn't.
So I guess I'd spend more time on reserve on the 7ER compared to the 73N.
How is the reserve in LAX on both planes (QOL speaking) ?
Thank you

I have the same question regarding LAX. I'm still not decided between 7ER and 73N to get me the soonest to the west coast.

Every day.
Don't be scared because the glass isn't as pretty. Its not only the fastest (on average) way to ATL, its the fastest way to some seniority in ATL.
