He will retire from Delta with Endeavor retirement benefits. You need 10 years at Delta to receive their retirement package

It’s a long story but many of the pre merger 9E pilots were not a fan of him. He was the MEC chairman then became the CP. Some believe he sold out and pushed a concessionary contract. My personal opinion of the guy is neutral. Never met him but he does come off as a “politician”.

We had a guy at OO who left at 63 as well for UA, unfortunately it was literally a few month prior to Covid. The industry just had to give him one last proper sendoff for old times sake.

something to also note. Quite a few of these old XJ guys turned down the flow at NWA. This joker included. They would all be delta captains now if they would have gone. Why all of a sudden decide to go to mainline? maybe some of them regret the decision turning it down before. Their peers that went ( 100 something XJ guys/gals) will retire far better off than these guys/gals ever will. interesting stuff.

Because he’s a turncoat. From years as the MEC chair to directly working with management to undermine our contract negotiations.
