So basically here is what's going to happen. More bickering will occur but when the vote is out, I am guessing a YES vote will prevail due to most pilots getting pay in excess of 83 hours monthly. But mainly, the YES vote will fly because for most its a big increase in pay. Over 50 percent (opinion) get way more than 83. As indicated earlier, people will vote to what suits them personally. No one wants the motherluvin bonus to expire because that will cause stagnation and downgrades, etc. Or maybe that will cause a flow, who knows. But seriously I am seeing a yes vote by a landslide.

Correct. When all said and done, nobody will end up 'behind' except people who stick to arbitrary terms and definitions to suit their point.
Agreed. Why are we dividing ourselves?

I enjoy every crew I work with and swap jets with. No need for BS bickering. Unproductive, unhelpful, divisive.
We don't need to split ourselves apart. Whatever contract being developed will not be perfect, but one never is. I have 100% faith in our negotiators. There isn't something that 100% of our group will support. Bear in mind market rates, hiring occurring, etc. I'd love Delta 900 rates, but that's not happening.
Look at other contracts being signed and pay rates industry wide. (Thanks for walking up to the bar, looking at it, and turning around OO) Proposed rates would put us double digit percent above competitors.
That's all folks.
In almost every way our new contact should be better
If 15% of the pilots have a lower guaranteed 75hr pay it should be offset by more 401k company contributions, higher per deim, more vacation time, ability to trade rsv days for trips, etc. etc.
please don't bash our own pilot negotiators they are fighting for us all, cjo or not.

The union has to protect the interests of every single pilot. A pay raise for every pilot on property with NO exceptions! The union should not, I repeat not propose anything less. I agree that if they come out with a number that benefits most but not all it will have a chance of passing, but that would be 100% wrong and I will not vote yes.

There is one pie, everyone gets a slice, everyone doesn't get their own pie
If you want more pay, you get less 401k, less sick, less vacation.
Everyone here can credit more than 75 if they want
If you choose a base, AC, seat
That won't that's on you

The company doesn't want to give a pay cut to some pilots, also the bonus is a cash expenditure, hourly has an effect on the bottom line. Hourly pay also reduces profit sharing at the mainline, whereas bonus money does not, since Delta has a multi-billion dollar cash pile.

The hat discussion needs to go. If you want to wear your hat...wear your hat and tell your CA to blow smoke. Regarding pay....After that turd we swallowed years ago...the new pay proposal better be legit. I speak for myself...but unless there are big gains....my vote is NO. The market dictates our pay. We are in high demand, therefore I will not settle for mediocre improvements.
