Someone in that class will have to fill you in, I am not in it, just providing info on the vacancy. No one said Direct Entry Captains, they said new hires were awarded CA.

I’ve been here 13 years and I’ve seen too many to count. Most of them were the effects of two bankruptcies. But this is the second one of two because Delta decided to close the MSP 200 base.

I’m soon to be employed with 9E. Curious if someone that has T-Mobile could share what the Delta discount is. I know with AT&T it’s 21% off. Looking to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile to save a few bucks but it may be a wash if the T-Mobile discount isn’t very good. Thanks!
November 2017 new hire here. Former ASA. Just looking for an answer to a question. My whole class was given LGA 900 during class. We were told from the head of crew planning that our initial award in training had no seat locks (old contract.) It was a “freebie.” So now many of us in this last bid, bid 200 positions in the base we wanted. Now we see in this award that none of us got the 200 awards we bid for and that they went junior to us from people that got the 200 in the classes behind us. Is this correct? I know the contract has changed since we started, and all I can find in the new contract is 18 month lock for new hires. So are we basically screwed getting to the base we want until we can hold it on the 900? Didn’t know since when we started we were on the old contract. Figured no seat locks. This makes the new hire class award a VERY big deal for all those ASA/XJET guys coming over. Thanks.

I remember this happening last year, but don't remember the outcome. Best thing to do is email or call ALPA and have them look into it for you.

If they want street captains they have to release all seatlocks. If the company releases any seatlock for this award (not out yet), all seat locks will be released.
I dont know why you thought you'd come here and get whatever type you wanted but we have 200s and the junior pilots will likely fly them. If the 900 is that important to you, it's probably important to the pilots senior to you.
Seriously though, Mesa has an ATL base and no 200s. If you leave and no one comes in we'll get more money or some sort of flow.
