That’s a bold statement. You must have some crystal ball to assure your speculation of furloughs at the big 3 within the next 2 years.

Also, working for 75% pay sounds like a raw deal...

I don't think pay is 75%, but rather they can drop trips if the staffing/reserve grid for the month is 75% green.

You read his post completely wrong. The company is required to make 75% of the days green during initial open time. Which many pilots dropped down to 0 and pick up at 200%. This is normal every summer.

In other news, ExpressJet has a shorter upgrade time than Endeavor now. 12/17 hires being awarded captain. 4/17 here, with a massive wave of pilots hired after them through early 2018.
