When one company buys out another company and is so in control of it and invited to attend company block parties it can get confusing to us small folks. Sorry my bad but I/we know our place now and thank you.
Know your place? Gees man. I haven't seen this level of victimhood since Comair/ASA/etc. Is it really that bad there being a WO? Would you really be better off being in the same position as CHQ or Mesa or SKYW or TSA or ACA?

As for it getting confusing, I could maybe see that for a brand new newbie, at least at first. Maybe. Even then, but maybe I guess.

Branded regionals aren't the same as mainline, even WO's. That's not a dig. I'd like to get more and more of the large RJ flying on the mainline list, with tons of WO pilots here to fly them and anything else we have. Barring that, I'd like to see the strongest possible PWA at Endeavor. DL has arguably lead the industry with dysfunctional regional experiments and it would be nice to see them finally pick one to turn into a good, stable gig with a strong path to mainline for those who'd like that.

But whining about how you're so unfairly treated as a WO simply doesn't carry any water. We know, because its been tried. A lot. And it doesn't work.

I find it RIDICULOUS that some days (MSP 200 FO) for instance that the threshold is 15 reserves when there isn't even that many reserve lines! I understand the need for a buffer but come on....

On an unrelated note anyone know what's going on with the 200 MSP pairings. I have three 30+ hour layovers on my line.

I had to deny a Delta guy the other day. Airplane was at 1400ish and for three people at 20c I believe it's 1700ish. What do you do at 0530 at an outstation? If you get a fed on board and they see that it's game over.

Last I checked it takes two to get the plane from a to b. Anytime I jump seat I recognize both pilots, since we are all human beings and all....
It's not just Delta, it can be any airline. I've had new RJ guys to senior mainline CA who didn't say a word to me until half way though a 4-5 hrs flight (it's rare but it happens). Personally, it doesn't bother me and I don't really care, I usually introduce myself to both the CA and FO before even asking the CA if I can get a ride.

That's when you say "Hey Dick!" Done it before "Oh your name isn't Dick? I guess you should have introduced yourself"

There is a lot of things about 9E that are better than other regionals but reserve life is not one of them.

All the above would be great along with-
Fewer Ready Reseve periods per month
Earlier release on last day or
If flying on the last day and when you complete last leg if no new assignments then automatically released
MIN day off increase to 14 or 15 days and I would consider voting for dual qualification. This would make commuting for Reseve much better and seniors guys may even choose reserve over a line.
Long call only lines and/or perhaps a % of all reserve lines have some long call
We need to make sure that senior pilots push to help the junior pilots out who will be sitting reserve for long time as CA and make 9E attractive to new hires as well.

The Union is suppose to bring Unity-not benefit the top % of a company! Let's be different than other airlines. Don't forget us pilots down here sitting Reserve getting 10 HR 4 and 5 day assignments. Funny Concept Uninty

I haven't seen a green day on the MSP FO side since I think October or November.

There have been some in 200 DTW FO on and off recently. Just looked, there are 4 in a row later this week that are green, some days by more than 1 even.

Does anyone know the growth plan that COO JD was talking about in CVG tech OPS?
