That doesn't mean they care for them. Flow is the cheapest way to staff mainline (not nearly as many interviews which cost time and money) which further proves my point that it's not about caring, it's about lowest cost.

Yeah they're not flowing them because they love them. It just allowed them to offer substandard wages and QOL for a little while longer. Things may well improve with Kirby leaving. But the reasons for them getting improvements are not due to some newfound corporate ethos. I'm also curious long term how AA mainline pilots feel about having almost zero control over who will be sharing their cockpits with them. Isn't that part of why Delta is so averse to flow agreements? They didn't like some of the guys that ended up there?

Well that theory makes zero sense because you should see some of the tools that delta took via the SSP...I had those individuals on my no fly list or I simply called in sick to avoid these awesome guys. Now they are deltas problem. Sharing those cockpits with mainline guys now.

Delta will weed them out if your awesome judge of character is correct. I can tell you use it wisely.

Also, I would never admit to falsely calling in sick on any website. The idea of anonymity is a fallacy at best.

How junior is a FO line going in DTW right now...(-200 obviously)

I'm from northern Ohio and trying to choose between Endeavor, Skywest, and PSA...

Right now all new hires are going to NYC, -200 and -900. That should be changing shortly however, I believe there were a handful of 900 DTW spots open on the last vacancy. Should be even more once NYC is staffed up. Can't say enough good things about the people I've met here so far. DTW probably will be doable in the near future, on either the 200 or 900.

I can tell you odds are higher of getting DTW900 surprisingly enough. Regardless, you'll be going to NYC immediately out of training. Which is good and bad... you'll probably hold a line on the 200 in NY quick.

But to answer your question then most junior DTW200 line holder is a March 2016 hire. There has been no new hires or vacancy realignments into DTW200 since June.

OK, thanks...didn't realize that.

I don't like the idea of NYC. I've lived there before. (Not for flying...but long story.) And commuting CLE to NYC will be a royal pain...Better CLE to ORD...

Maybe Skywest is a better option if I actually want lots of opportunity in DTW, it's their most junior

Have you interviewed or been offered positions with any regional yet?
