Hey Dera you there?? Yeah uh Dera how many of your line pilots were furloughed? How many have been recalled?

Look, it’s looks like to me you’re passionate about who you work for. I get it, wether SKW is a first regional for you like ENY is a first regional for myself, we cannot ever forget that we are all pawns in the bigger chess game here. It seems to me you’re losing sight of that, you shouldn’t give a rats a** about who furloughed less or who can hire more. Who gets one base and who doesn’t. We are getting set up to go against each other. And while SKW may have the awesome 5000+ pilot group you have, just wait until the big three starts messing with your company and your pilot group, and the race to the bottom begins. Your company knows how to cost cut and when to be ruthless, just like ours does.

We stood up to the company to keep our rates that we fought hard for, as a cadet I would have understood too despite how frustrating that is. Additionally, you cannot blame the company for cost cutting either. It’s a fluid situation and it sucks having to watch my friends get furloughed. But again, this could possibly get bigger than “who furloughed who, my regional is better than yours” over the course of this year.

You said: You do not have to disclose employment at Skywest if you wash out from training.

Depends on what you wash out for? We had a guy in our class never fail a PRIA, he used up all his sim time in maneuvers, never got signed off, asked to resign. (Ended up at expressjet, yikes)

You still want to lock that answer? I would love you to say that at an airline interview, especially after 5Y3591.

I’d say you’re lying on your next interview if you hide around the stance that you resigned. But that’s up to the individual if he wants to be truthful or not, and that individual will have to live with the consequences if his new employer decides to dig further.

And I'm still waiting for your answer about our MEC and how you know what they think about the flow. Want to expand that a bit more?

Why even include flow time in the seniority list? Do you really need to know your flow time every month, probably not, but I’d say it’s a reminder that potential glory is at the end of the tunnel.

And while we are at it, you are saying you took no concessions. Did your LOA/MOU or whatever it was called say the company can involuntarily junior man pilots to VTO if they don't have enough takers?

The answer is NO, we did not take concessions. No matter how hard you to try to spin it, the answer is still No. NOBODY has been junior manned onto VTO.

Side note: The pilots who took the Paid time off (55 hours of guaranteed credit per month I believe) for the most part have high paying secondary incomes and absolutely love the VTO/PTO program. Most are probably making more money now then precovid. So I wouldn’t bash that program to hard, it’s a win-win for everyone involved.
Don’t bother answering my question, I already know that answer.

Shame on me, I only now realized Finessed got banned and you registered right when it happened. What a coincidence.

THKooj in your opinion with insider info, when do you 🤔 think ENY will recall cadets, start hiring the poolies with cjo's and what's the future of the RTP program candidates who got stuck when the music stopped.
Your response will be much highly appreciated as I'm asking for a friend.

With the vaccines out, the current trajectory of upward numbers coupled with AAs aggressive stance in claiming and growing market share, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see hiring start by August 2021 along with cadet recalls. I do think that the RTPs won't carry the same weight going forward as the cadet market should more than support Envoy hiring for at least a year out.

The RTP program was cut in late 2019 wasn’t it?

Basically shortly after hiring ceased in 2020. I'm on record as not liking the program. I felt it gave way too much credit to some military rotor heads over highly qualified cadets. There were a few times when cadets had to wait for a spot to open and some military helo yahoo took up the space. I'm aware of training issues with these guys and after all that and getting online, they generally leave for some legacy if they can get themselves called. A silver lining to all this is that these guys shouldn't be back. At least through the RTP program.
