I'm not expecting anything from these executives. It's obvious that Envoy is at the bottom of the totem pole when after the merger, DP said "Envoy will play a vital role in the regional network", when we are the ones who get the scraps of the schedules and doing someone else's flying that can't be staffed. It's all a politicians speech. They only say what we want to hear and then disappear back behind their desks, counting their bonus checks with the pipe dream of a happy workforce. Action speaks louder than words.

Well it appears CR700 disappeared as stealthily as he arrived.
Perhaps it was a "hook in the water" to show upper mgt. that their beloved flow through isn't enough, as the union has been telling them.

Maybe the MEC officers hold show Isom/Hashimoto the results of the recent "which regional would you choose" poll here. Envoy had zero votes. Instructors aren't looking for a flow thru. Our airline has become a soft landing for retired military guys trying to stay current for 6 months until DAL/SWA calls and sucker cadet program guys that were indoctrinated while at flight school.

As in 40 hours for the month. We're lucky. That's 10 hours more than what I have been getting on reserve.
I believe the union is giving out a complimentary hangman's noose. Provided for when your sanity is on the cusp of folding commuting the day prior and sitting at the airport all day for three days with a two day trip worth 4 hours.

Seriously, what has changed in the past 60 days to this thread being all hate and vitriol toward Envoy? I understand that eaglefly and his group will always be here trying to bring doom and gloom to Envoy. It's obvious that this guy and his cronies have a problem with Envoy. Likely they missed the boat and suffered through the lost decade. I can understand some of those feelings but this isn't 2001 anymore. The sky isn't falling, we are still flowing, what's changed?
Compare Envoy to Mesa, GoJet or even Endeavor. None of those regionals has a flow in place. Endeavor has an "interview" but not a guaranteed flow like Envoy. Come on! To remind you, we just flowed THIRTY guys over to AA all with the contract being honored. Plus GoJet and Mesa's pay scales are awful along with likely very poor QOL. Endeavor has higher pay, but it's in the form of bonuses only. Envoy on the other hand has stable pay, a stable work environment and a GUARANTEED FLOW to AA.
Some guys will never be happy. There are those who will constantly gripe about the working conditions, pay, QOL, you name it. These types will always surface here and nothing will ever be good enough.
Nothing out there is perfect, including Envoy. But we do offer that stable work environment, excellent training and industry leading flow. I've tried to offer information to get this thread back on track but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. To those who won't listen and will be doom and gloom no matter what, GET OVER IT! There's nothing wrong with Envoy. Taking the flow only into consideration, it's a premiere carrier today. It SHOULD be the first choice of anyone who wants a long career with the largest airline in the world.

I haven't disappeared. You guys just wouldn't listen. I've given you information. The amount AA plans to hire, expected rate of flow, etc. What else do you want? A couple of months ago on this very thread there were more than a handful of ardent Envoy supporters who appeared to have the big picture and who understood the dynamics of the industry. Where did you guys go?

I tried Mesa for one year before I had to punch out that sorry operation. Guess who I went to? American Eagle. I was content and happy how the company was managed when I started here. Pay was way better than any other regional. Route structure was sound. Contract was great compared JO's slave shop. What has changed since? We're down to only two bases now, our contract is abused very day, our retention of pilots is nonexistent, the flow is metered for reasons that are ludicrous, we can't get new hires within targets, our schedules are a joke. I can go on and on, but you've heard it from one ear and out the other.
Today, it has turned into another Mesa Airlines. So you tell me, I'm supposed to be happy about that? Should anyone be okay with that? Maybe what has changed is nothing has changed. New faces, same tactics, same results, same morale issues.

Lol. In regards to Endeavor, a guaranteed interview rather than a flow is what Delta wants, because it forces candidates to prepare. Not saying one is better than the other, just know that Delta and American have very different staffing theories. As Envoy starts scraping the bottom of the barrel and dropping hiring standards, I would expect AA to follow in DAL's example. Why would AA want to be contractually bound into taking anyone Envoy sends?
Another point with Endeavor, their pay rates are higher than Envoy, and they also have contractual bonuses. The company can't just take those away without renegotiating a contract. The bonuses are held at 25% tax, but at the end of the year it is taxed as normal income. Envoy has ONLY the flow, and right now, there's a lot of doubt it will be successful going forward. Then what?
