The returning T pilots have given ENY management a reprieve by slowing the departing flows and allowing them to bank more new hires, then the holidays will give them a little more staffing wiggle room as the training center slows down. Unless the new hire issue resolves itself, 2017 is going to be interesting.
I think 2017 is going to be very interesting. If AAG was serious about its wholly-owneds succeeding they would have ALREADY made the improvements that need to be made. They will likely be a day late and a dollar short when the time comes.

They need to fill the gap RAH is leaving with the BK. That's why you can see an extra effort to bring more people into envoy, than PDT/PSA. You know the same thing happened 2 yrs ago with PSA.

Once they are done with us, rinse and repeat. They will only do as much to bring people need it fill their needs.

PSA CEO said it on the townhall, they will wait to see if it works the latest bonus and if not something else will be done.

We are picking up a lot of the RAH slack too. That's why I don't understand if they aren't having an issue finding pilots, why are the AAG wholly owneds picking up so much of their flying?

Because when AAG cracks the whip the WO's say "Yes Sir!" We are controllable and transparent. The other alter-Eagles might say they can take the flying, but as we've seen, they can't always deliver on those promises for various reasons.

If you can't get the job done right...

Most of the envoy lines are below 75hrs. They can still can increase the lines value. Our RSV list have 30+ pilots.

CRJ ord have around 15 more lines in may
EMJ ord have about 5-10 more lines
EMJ DFW have about 10 more lines
E75 DFW lines are growing too

The only problem is that we are losing more pilots than new hires.

So flow is a gamble and getting hired off the street ahead of military pilots, LCC pilots, etc... is a sure thing. Got it.

Bird in the hand for sure.

And on the topic of Republic and other alter-eagles...lets just say that Parker is realizing that the outsourcing experiment didn't work as planned. Everything coming out of centerport these days indicate Parker, Issom, et al realizing the benefits of in house flying..meaning Envoy/PSA/Piedmont.

Hashimoto was the "brains" behind the strong push for outsourcing..him being head of Regional flying he was afforded this leeway. It failed. Envoy MEC guys will tell you how bored Hashimoto seemed at all the meetings in 2015. It's because he was pushing ahead with his little experiment full speed and wasn't interested in increasing wholly owned flying.

Upper management have reversed that now and Hashimoto has been reigned in. My only wish is that he be replaced...but it looks like he will retain his position only now his job is to get flying back in house.

More flying in house means more pilots needed in the WO. Where are they gonna find these pilots and how are they gonna retain the ones that they have on property?

It is unbelievable that someone like him who singlehandedly caused THOUSANDS of flight cancellations by horrendous decision making skills is still employed in his same position. The amount of flat out lying and blame shifting that must go on behind the scenes with these executives must be mind blowing.

We told them this would happen when they did it. They didn't care. You would think the board or higher ups would force some of these idiots out of their positions after they continue to make bad decisions over and over again but I think they are just as dumb and shortsighted. Good ol boys club. As long as they are making their big $$$ who cares about the customers and all the people harmed, right? Nobody is held accountable for anything in corporate America anymore.

Nice propaganda, but words have meaning and results count.

When Envoy stops screwing their own pilots, stops giving them crappy schedules and quits threatening to shut them down unless they give more concessions, then maybe, and only then, can the idea that Envoy pilots have a future be believed.

What are you talking about? When has the company threatened us for MORE concessions? Are you referring to the contract negotiations two years ago?
