Coming from you that statement is dripping with irony. Thanks for contributing absolutely nothing to a descent discussion

One factor you guys might add to this is commutability of the trips as that can dramatically impact "days off".

For better or worse, I have left the ****hole that Envoy is. You guys have said that you'll be laughing from your seats at AA while I'm desperately trying to get on at a major.

That seems more unlikely in the short term as the days go by. Your leader has already admitted 2.5/6 was "off a bit." 2.5/6 becomes 4/8 which becomes 8/16 and lots of Envoy guys will be still waiting their turn to flow after a decade or more of service. I've suggested for your own good to pull your heads out of the sand and consider other opportunities. To sit back and just "wait to flow" is at your own detriment.

Get good with TTOT and watch it all the time.Trade into something commutable if a couple of your trips aren't. When I bid lines I usually end up trading just about everything anyway to manipulate my schedule how I want and get better trips.

The same with Reserve. I swap days off with other pilots. Hardly anyone does it but you can, its in the contract.

While commutability is different to each person the generally accepted number was 30% of the lines were commutable on both sides with around 80% being commutable on one end. I do wish that number was higher. Is that split pretty close to what american offers? Honest question, I do know they tend to favor 3 day trips over there.

Again, your relevance to this conversation is low. You bizarrely cling to interjecting random talking points you read off of eaglelounge.

Everyone is talking about min days off, commuting vs not commuting, and other normal things you may discuss about any other regional or airline for that matter out there.

Yet several post back it seems as if this company has absolutely nothing better to do than sit back and and have a think tank of idiots come up with more ways to punish the flight crews for retarted reasons.

If this company is seriously going after your crews for drinking coffee at the gate area you have more problems than you think.

There ain't no way I would remotely entertain a company that can't trust the pilots to safely and responsibly drink coffee in a gate area. The same people they are supposed to trust to fly 40 plus passengers around at 8 to 9 miles above the earth.

It seems clearly obvious if you go to Envoy you seriously place yourself at risk from idiotic discipline that may adversely affect any hopes to making it to a LCC or a legacy.

To commute or not commute will be the least of your problems then.

Most other less draconian regionals currently are getting what appears to be 45 to 90 new hires a month with no flow at all. Yet even with the magic flow what is envoy pulling in?

The number of new hires showing up to Envoy and the attitude of guys bailing if they don't get the equipment they want is a true testament of the utter failure of leadership at the airline. Just an absolute disaster.

8-9 miles? How many of your airplanes fly over 42,000'?

Seriously?

So let me go back and look your service ceilings up in every aircraft envoy operates.

Ok so to make you feel good about yourself let's say 7 to 8 miles.

Does that Make you feel better? 7 to 8 / 8 to 9 does it really matter?

If you are an envoy pilot maybe I am wrong in my original post. Maybe you guys can't be trusted to drink coffee safely and responsibly in the gate area.

And yes I have flown planes well above fl420

Not withstanding the fact that your writing style matches up perfectly with a couple other screen names here why is it a big deal if the gate agents have a policy that doesn't allow food and beverages next to the gate that somehow the rest of the crews are above it? I've never heard of any disciplinary action being taken over it. Have you?
