That was one of the first things that crossed my mind, it doesn't look like MIA 175 base is gonna happen for us

at 4 new hires a month average, it will take 14 months of hiring just to get the 55 new hires for the e75 since a current f/o cannot bid it without a displacement bid. since new hires wont take the crj instead of the e75, what makes envoy think they will find 55 new hires for the e45.

this is going to be interesting to see how it plays out.

Too expensive to start a base their for 20 aircraft. Besides, your MEC will be giving them a SAT base for the E-145 shortly which meets AAG's temporary needs as Envoy continues to shrink.

Yes, it will be interesting to watch. Even with a boost of street hires with some pipeline pilots likely due out soon, not sure how they'll fill all E-175 F/O slots with streeties by the closing of the bid. I'd expect a few DFW guys to maybe jump at it, leaving some DFW slots to fill. If they allow present pilots from other fleets to bid it, they'll have to start parking little Embraers or bending over those remaining pilots beyond 90 degrees and really stuffing their faces in the carpet.

I think they will staff by transferring the 700s away from Envoy. Whether or not that is to PSA or someone else remains to be seen.

well it will be interesting to watch the fall out, all those new hires in the e75 will be crying and kicking when the displacement bid comes out and kicks them out of the e75 to the e45 due to the crj leaving. they will have to run a displacement bid and every f/o on property kept out of the e75 will be eligible to bid it with the displacement. domino effect.

I've been at envoy for 6 years, through all the he ll years. At this point things have returned back to a more normal place. Eagle or envoy have never been a bad place to work, even now. Yes it sucks for awhile when management touches things and shakes the hive. Yes management needs to fix the schedules and throw some kind of cash to short term recruit to fix the upgrade time. However that's it, you fix those two and maybe open back up a baseor two and we will be right back on level with endeavour and skywest. It's really frustrating because we are such an easy few decisions and costs from being a great place again. Hopefully management wakes up.
So you're saying fire Pedro and dick, and things will be good. Because they laughed off the pay proposal and aren't willing to negotiate any pay increases.
