New Envoy Information
#3861
Who cares what 18 airplanes (e175) do, the majority if not 90 percent the schedules are what pilot crusader states.
Also for august the word for the crj is 130 lost weekends and not even cdo's can help out this mess. Envoy management every month tweaks the schedule even more terrible.
Envoy su ck s for this reason alone even though there are any reasons.

Then we will have to wait and see. That was the word last week. Who knows by next week, we may give all our flying to skywest as we have done with the mid day flying in ord.
Envoy and the other w/o's are being herded around like lost sheep looking for that flow date which is every month getting less flowing.
But wait dui and skipper have a plan to get rich while you scrape pennies.
Come to envoy get 15k bonus and take a pay cut second year. Only at an aag regional is this a positive.

130 lost weekends ? Jeez, no wonder no one wants to fly them. According to Wiki as of 2 weeks ago, the CRJ's will be gone sometime after 2017, the 40 E-140's will be parked Q3 this year and another 18 E-145's transferred out. That's 93 aircraft to eventually phased out over the next couple of years or so, if true.
Perhaps they have a plan to deal with feeble recruitment and moderate attrition after all ?

I'm done. Been here 6 months and am making the move to Endeavor. Just got the offer yesterday. Spent a lot of time going over how to pay the bonus back and with the new deal being offered, it's basically a wash for me. I'm new to the industry, was a pipeline instructor. I was really excited to come to Envoy but things quickly got old. Being on reserve, commuting and starting every sequence of days with a pre assigned 4am RAP was the real downer.
Crew scheduling offers you no help and I find them at times to be very hostile. The environment here is toxic in my opinion. Nothing like my instructor gig. There, you did your job and worked directly with your supervisor and the organization treated you like you were an asset. I believed in the flow but during my time here, I was shown by numerous Captains the history of the flow and how it had been gone back on. It seems that is happening here now. Being on the bottom of a list, it's not comforting to know that something offered that directly affects your future is truly not a viable option. My crews were great, that's about the only thing here that was a bright spot.
I've got a close friend who went to Endeavor several months before I came here. I spent many hours talking with him about what is happening here and how things are going there. It came down to the treatment here in the end. Endeavor is still a regional but I feel that I have a much better opportunity there with Delta in the long run and the ongoing day to day environment seems quite a bit better.
Good luck to all. Envoy is my first 121 job and I'm glad to have had the chance here. I wish all well and hope that this place can turn around.

Updated 3 weeks ago too. It's easy to say it's inaccurate, but then how accurate has the info given to the pilots been ? How do you know their info isn't better considering that ? Maybe...........just maybe, you're being B.S.ed for someone else's interests and you're too Stockholm/Battered wife/Beaten dog to recognize anything other that what you've convinced yourself is reality ?
I mean, lets face it. Some of you guys sure don't seem to be grounded very well and in serious denial.

Why not, it's information, isn't it ? Shouldn't it at least be considered ?

Sounds like you wern't E-175 and that might have been a bit better although not sure about the 4am RAP on first reserve day punishment. That may be universal across all fleet types.

I mean I'm not saying anything about Envoy being good or bad, just saying wikipedia is not a reliable source for information especially a secret fleet plan. But maybe you are right and someone in management is leaking that information via wikipedia. Seems as likely as anything I guess.
Sounds to me like nothing's really changed and other then present moves of slowing that down a bit so Envoy can pinch-hit for others while they spool up (or maybe not) which are just temporary, the plan by AAG for Envoy hasn't changed. Everyone is free to consider that info to whatever degree they want, but personally, I would if it potentially impacted my future. IMO, it would be stupid not to. As the cub said, things are "calm" there tight now, but if so, maybe that's just the calm before the real storm ?
