I'd say a significant percentage would leave to a major in a heartbeat when they can. If I were aag I'd be worried about a disenchanted pilot group that has no allegiance to the company and could not care less if it succeeds long term. 34 a month was the majic number to achieve orbit. Every month we don't necessitates a larger average in future months. It's ok to be an optimist or a pessimist but don't lie to yourself about the numbers. Be a realist. Psa hiring slowed when new hires realized the cast upgrades were gone. What happens when newborns realize there are no more openings for the 175, realisticly?

No doubt you do. I wouldn't try to change your mind. You can say whatever you want, you'll just have to accept that I won't agree with it. Unlike you guys, censorship and suppression aren't my choices.

BOTH these post contain Classic Indicators of a textbook Narcissist. You need to post on APC and act like a big fish at your old little pond to feed into self indulgent fantasy of intelligence and importance. You think you are cool showing up at the football games with your old letterman jacket from 10 years ago. And you're right, everyone "knows" you but just not in the good way you think. You are the butt of our jokes and recipient of our pity. You are a sad old man.
Be that as it may, it won't help Envoy recruitment and that should be more of a concern then me. But, when failing elsewhere, play to your one remaining strength.........bashing eaglefly.

Holy hell man, there you go making stuff up again. How the hell did you get that I'm a victim? Your routine is obvious, I'm no victim of it.
On a brighter and more informational note, the company has added over 20 pilots to the pool today. Congratulations to them on their impending escape.

I'm at the training center now. The instructors down here are discussing the difficulties we face on the line on the 145. One of the difficulties is staffing, especially the left seat. There's no cure for the left seat issue other than upgrades, and upgrades are enough to draw FO's from either the CRJ or the 175 to the 145 if that's where the upgrades are. The pay is the same no matter the fleet type. Unfortunately SJS has gripped the newhires and all they want is the 175, that leaves a big hole in the 145 staffing - but let me be clear, we're not short 145 FO's yet. Well...other than the standard low staffing Eaglevoy chooses to call "adequate".
At some point that will change and the answers are incentives to get newhires to choose the 145, or displacements.
That's where we're at. It's a possibility, but we haven't hit the decision point yet that will force a course of action. It is not currently on any radar other than the rumor mill. If it happens, the pilots will be the last to know.
