The pay is the same no matter the fleet type. Unfortunately SJS has gripped the newhires and all they want is the 175, that leaves a big hole in the 145 staffing - but let me be clear, we're not short 145 FO's yet. Well...other than the standard low staffing Eaglevoy chooses to call "adequate".

At some point that will change and the answers are incentives to get newhires to choose the 145, or displacements.

That's where we're at. It's a possibility, but we haven't hit the decision point yet that will force a course of action. It is not currently on any radar other than the rumor mill. If it happens, the pilots will be the last to know.

Thank you for the information.

The company will avoid a displacement until it is absolutely forced to because of the costs involved. Given the relative movement with guys flowing, resigning or upgrading there is little likelihood they will need to run a displacement. They can just adjust their staffing levels by choosing to backfill or not. Even if it got to the point of them offering $20,000 to a new hire to take the EMB145, it would still be cheaper than running a displacement.

So, an additional $5,000 on top of the $15,000 sign-on bonus?

The below is a copy and paste from another forum its about a union conference call to the pilots in DFW

LEC83 Teleconference notes
LAX parking problems. Union or company can't help.

NYC parking similar but you can park 45 minutes away from gate for employee rate, not ideal but that's it.

DFW badge scanning at gate is for security purposes, but not sure if company can track show time and use it against pilot.

Affected FOs on the LTFO grievance should expect $45 per month affected. Not sure if PVDs can be submitted yet, most likely in a few weeks after list is confirmed by union.

ORD E175 pilots should expect end of September or later training date but still 2016 class.

Pay raises out of table for now by AAG. Envoy would love to give all pay raises but AAG writes the check.

Currently losing 10 to 12 FOs a month to LCC airlines plus flow.

Envoy wants more planes, including TSA and etc...

No MIA base on the horizon. Maybe talks again but not until after first quarter of 2017.

Conference call was terminated while talking about 2h extension.

Thanks for the notes. Most interesting points IMO are the shelving of the MIA base and that we're losing a few more FO's per month than we are recruiting. Not dire, but not headed the right direction either.

The LTFO settlement is inadequate.

Averaging close to 100 cancellations per day for the last few days.

From the last time I saw anything about the rules before when the cash was optional it was a 24 mo contract. Repay in full before 12 mo and prorated every mo after 12 to 24 for pay back if you leave.

For current info might want to talk to someone in HR or recruiting.
