The sad part is what was offered at PSA is a joke. Think about this for just a second. What if all the MEC unions said no, what would happen? They would try again for a better increase. It seems no one really understands the leverage we all three have at this very moment. In unity I suggest we all take a stand and say no.

Without knowing the particulars of what happened, the fact remains that Envoy did agree to FO retention bonuses while both the PSA and PDT "scabs" said no. Meanwhile, no one's hiring situations have improved, and that singular action negotiated away a lot of the leverage at the WOs.

You're welcome.
In any case, no more thread derailment! I know PSA and PDT guys are super duper excited to find out when they get to cash in on their me-too clause...but this thread is about Envoy. Thanks.

I really would like to believe the days of whipsawing at the regionals are over, and it's all about attracting and retaining pilots these days, but I think this move would make it easier for the whipsaw to continue with the non wholly owns vs the WO's.

What no one realizes is what option does AA have if we all say no? This is exactly what will happen, nothing for 4-6 months and then come back with a better than last agreement. Everything is in our favor at this point. I really don't see how guys on property would actually take this, as it hardly does anything for FOs here among all 3 WHO's. But I suppose everyone will take the money and run.
