Commuter policy- two attempts to get here before your sign in and you are safe. You can use it two times per year.
It is three times per year, I just looked it up in the contract. I was wrong, too, I said six. Section 11.T.1.

What Envoy can guarantee that others can't is 30-40 SENIOR pilots leaving per month via the flow to AA. Other Regionals can't predict their attrition, or if that attrition will come from the top of the seniority list or the bottom.

So Envoy's projections are much more accurate because we have this known attrition quantity-the flow through-and we know exactly where on the seniority list that attrition will come from.
Having a mechanism to move pilots up and out is a big deal. Even with 250 or so lifers at Envoy the vast majority of them have less than 10 years left before retirement and will predictably drop off the list over time. Compare that with the United's CPP or Delta's DGI that cherry picks through the seniority list you get left with guys throughout the seniority list who might be stuck or have no guarantee when they will be able to move on clogging upward progress for the rest of the list.

This should allow Envoy to increase monthly hiring well above the current 30/month. Endeavor went from a 7+ year upgrade and low teens hiring per month to a less than 2 year upgrade with talks of street captains and 50+/month hiring in less than two years. The same will likely happen at Envoy with much better attrition on the seniority list where it matters.

The new pay sounds great!
Did they change the $15,000 sign on bonus? Which would effect the Cadet Program/Pipeline Instructor?

$15,000 signing bonus for the 175. $20,000 for the 145 or CRJ.

So are they even offering the 175 to new hires? Last word I got was no as of last week from hiring folks. If I can guarantee DFW, would gladly take the $15K to avoid the slog to ORD.

The new supposed bonuses and all f/o' go to 4th year pay and maxed out is not new pay.

Pay rates stay same, you just get bumped to another pay rate, tomorrow when aag wants to the f/o will be back to 28 an hour.

Wrong. You are truly beyond a troll. You are firmly in the tool category.

To clarify buddies misinformation: This pay increase is contractual, not a bonus. The company can't arbitrarily knock everyone back to the old pay scales. These are new permanent pay rates.

Disregard this fool. He's butt hurt because his group-the lifers-didn't get any bonuses. He could have flowed...but at the time he was mister big, bad, rich regional pilot who was too good for AA. Now he's just bitter.

And where do you fall in that category?

Default Envoy is many things..

This announcement makes envoy a top tier choice for a prospective new hire. Envoy is many things and we have our issues. So do all regionals. So do all carriers. Senior FOs are now making what a "quick upgrade" captain makes at Mesa and has a better quality of life with a guaranteed career path. 1000 TPIC is not the magic ticket to getting hired at the majors, one would be smart to hedge their bets at envoy. We are looking to improve our RSV and schedules in the near future. If we can combine these pay improvements with better work rules, it's a great time to be an envoy pilot!
