Again. Moot point. The schedules year after year after year get better after the holidays end. So what are you saying? Saying we are getting 19 days off lines again? I don't think so. That ship has sailed and sank along with the Eagle spirit.

That's funny. Yea I'm sure they are "fixed" all right. Never mind that scheduling won't grant RSV swaps, crew scheduling keeps telling us we can't use our return days for the LTFO grievance settlement, PVD/PO days are next to impossible to get, and scheduling is JM-ing over contractual limits. The reserve section of our contract STILL hasn't been made Part 117 compliant (and probably never will be until the next section 6 negotiation). We are zeroing out on reserves every day and it's getting to the point management can't hide the crew cancellations. Oh, but January will have slightly fewer 4 on 2 off lines right? Everything is fixed, hallelujah!
And the answer to why Envoy is hiring so many pilots right now is to make up for the staffing crisis caused by Parker and Glass scaring off 600 Envoy pilots during bankruptcy with the Comair II threats.

Funny thing is, Jan and Feb are reduced flying so days off won't matter. 11 off 78 credit, sucks, 14 off 80 credit is bad

The previous thread was over a year old and gives mobile users a lot of redirects so I thought I would start a new thread with some info about Envoy.
Great things are happening at Envoy. The sky is the limit.
Flow/Upgrade – AA projecting 750 new hires next year. Expect 360 to 400 to flow in 2017 and an additional 360 in 2018 for a total of close to 800 over two years alone. A new hire can expect to flow to AA in just over 5 years.
Upgrade is projected at 2.5 to 3 years and is currently dropping fast. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see upgrades at less than 2 years in the near future.
New hires. Currently hiring like gangbusters. The last class had 41. Hiring projections for 2017 are in the 750 range. New hires are now eligible for bonuses that bring total first year compensation to 60k.
If you are looking at Envoy, now is the time. Get in on the front of the wave and reap the benefits of rapid seniority advancement and the AA flow.

Most are very awares of Envoy schedules and how bad that they are. The schedules there are so bad that even those who have been with the company for almost 10 years are considering quitting. I have very good friends still there at Envoy. Some captains there now were my FO long ago. One amigo after over 9 years is quitting to go to Spirit. I guess that should be telling of the flow or at least of how it is not working or at least of how most of this seniority view as to how long it will take. This friend is very very tired and has family. AFter days on the road with only 2 days off until next trip, he gets junior manned assignments on a regular basis. See why he is leaving?
Many say this flow will continue on forever. the real problem is that after the 824 pilot flows, the flow will be reduced. By contract. Then the compnay will meter the flow and then reduce even more. At the end you can expect that flow from Envoy will be the same numbers as peidmont and psa. Maybe 15 flows each month.
This will happen in 2017 sometime late. Mark these words and come back to check with me amigo. Time will tell

I have a not-so-strange feeling that your idea of fixed and all of ours is quite different. After all, just a bit ago you were saying the schedule problems were hugely exaggerated and only "a few" lines had problems. If there was no problem before, then what are you fixing? Do you think anyone believes your blatant salesmanship?

I am representing facts. Check the official company position and you'll see that my posts represent exactly that. Who knows better than the company what our future holds? I'm also trying to stay overwhelmingly positive. I'm tired of the hate and vitriol spewed here daily. As you are likely aware, most of the bashing comes from people who don't even work here! I can only conclude they are just jealous of what we have.

Cr700 and dacuj are the same person. They should have zero credibility because of all their lies. Yet new hires will listen to them, because, well new hires still go to Mesa so I guess we know why they listen to them.
Cr700 and dacuj make many false statements and try to say it's a small minority that complain about the schedule, well you **** sticks come out to the line, that small minority is the the entire flying group. The reason January will be better every year, is because of reduced schedules, by time April, May, role around, they implode again and begin the, they'll be fixed in January speeches again.
To all new hires stop believing these two, yes we have some good things here, but Qol is better at every other regional. This company has no problem telling you life will suck here, but when you get to AA you'll be happy you did it. No you won't, Delta and united pilots have it much better, so after a year at AA you'll be mad again.
In the last two days dacuj has said 41 in class, really was only 28. Said upgrades were 4 years, nope, I said 6, I stand corrected, it's at 5 years and 10 months!! So yes it's 6. They say whatever they can to et you here. Think about it, you are coming to a company where the first yr. you work here is the most you'll make until you upgrade, meaning payouts, after yr 1. Those two will say you can make more, well not really we have 11 days off, do you want to work on your min days off, and if you get a line with 14 days off its at 72 credit hrs, so all that open time you pick up will bring you only to a normal line, now with 10days off. Why do we have pay scales capped at 4 and 12 if they're so confident in flow? How low does flow go after the 824?

My problem with the projections of the flow going down to five years is "that" person has already been hired. As we continue to have classes of 60 or 70 per month and with the flow eventually scaling down to only 15/mo then the projected flow time is going to keep increasing for new-hires today and going forward.

I have CJO from both Envoy and Skywest. Gotta say.... based on what I see here I'm thinking Skywest is the better option.
