On that note,

Is holiday pay 24 hours? For example... if I have a trip that carries over from xmas even into xmas with 3 hours of block on xmas and then I day sleep and start another pairing that evening, with another 3 hours of block on xmas before midnight, would you get holiday twice? Holiday just for block or better from both pairings?
Yes, double dipping. Last year I did a red eye on NYE from SFO to FLL that departed after midnight NY time. Day sleep 12 hrs then back to JFK all on holiday pay rates. Think it was around 9+ hours.

“Living in a mini-van can save you 30%” or “How to become a freegan or dumpster diver: the road to financial independence on 30% less.” You pick.

The way I interpret it, it's any credit earned between midnight to midnight, at double-time. So yes, double time on credit after midnight 24/25th. Day sleep. Then double credit before midnight 25/26. You'll get a min of 4hrs for at least laying over during Xmas. Reference G.2 in FSM to be sure, I may be mistaken.

I believe the 4 hours you referenced is for a layover where you are there for the entire calendar day of a holiday but do not actually work that day. For example a 30 hour overnight in CLE. He won’t get both the 4 hours and the block time.

Thanks, I knew the 4 hours but wasn’t sure what happened if you had two pairings touching the day.

And yeah they paid EARLY profit sharing during a couple years during record profits and decided not to after that rough hurricane season and a likely not good winter vacation season coming up in the carribean. Not he end of the world. And December pto sell back has always had that cap.
I didnt know that management posted on this forum.
Lets hear some more praise for a company that helps out when the cameras roll, but detracts from it's employees qol (health care etc).
Try not to be too proud
