I remember being told, "congrats you are a millionaire." Was also told you won't just be a millionaire you'll have at $3 million in retirement. I was told we would all be 73 Captains in 4 years and we're getting more airplanes than God can count.
What could possibly go wrong?

Does anyone have any idea of the aircraft type and base breakdown for the January 9 class? Thank you in advance for your input.

This should just about drain the pool, so new interviews should start up in January as well.

I honestly dont know. The company recently switched their intranet structure and I cant access it to see the class sizes like I could before. The last update I was able to see (early November) showed 6 E190s for Jan 9th, but there have been about 4-5 people on this thread alone saying they have been called for that class. You guys in the Jan 9th class will have to let us know what the breakdown was on Day 1!
The Dec 5th class was bumped from 10 E190s to 20 E190s, so I think the same will hold true for this one.

Lol, now the seniority argument. Do I need to debunk your lies on this too. United has 3298 retirements between now and 2020. If you got hired there today, and they replaced every position, which is a stretch considering the would have to train 471 a year. Not to mention the company sucks at making money and the only profit they have is international routes. You would be 9207 out of 12505 pilots, sitting 26% from the bottom. JetBlue will retire 100, grow at least 800 by 2020, and at least 500 people will leave. That would put a new hire today at 1725 out of 3125, about 45% from the bottom. But do what you want. Every one person leaving JetBlue is like 5 leaving united, but for some reason people only see "legacy" and 3000 mandatory retirements. I should not have to explain this to you guys. You have been on here for months acting like know it alls telling people excited about getting a new job all your wrong information. I hope your happy at your next job, we are all counting on you leaving this one.
