And our health care is going up 200%, but we aren't supposed to talk about that.

good to hear, but inflation for 2012 is projected to be 2.2%. Translation - a .2% pay decrease.

Warthawg... IOE is pretty much cut and dry schedule wise.. Not much delay. I'd try to start working the MPF early before training. If you need more time I'd bring that up sooner than later and explain the circumstances etc.

Got the call for 9 Jan. 15 Nov 2011, 0930 Interview.

I was told that initial training was 6 1/2 weeks, then 4 days "off" until IOE. Is there flexibility in this schedule? I need about a week to get back and seperate from the military.

Anyone know what the iron drop will look like? I understand the 5 Dec class was all E190 (20).
Congrats bro!!

Lol, now the seniority argument. Do I need to debunk your lies on this too. United has 3298 retirements between now and 2020. If you got hired there today, and they replaced every position, which is a stretch considering the would have to train 471 a year. Not to mention the company sucks at making money and the only profit they have is international routes. You would be 9207 out of 12505 pilots, sitting 26% from the bottom. JetBlue will retire 100, grow at least 800 by 2020, and at least 500 people will leave. That would put a new hire today at 1725 out of 3125, about 45% from the bottom. But do what you want. Every one person leaving JetBlue is like 5 leaving united, but for some reason people only see "legacy" and 3000 mandatory retirements. I should not have to explain this to you guys. You have been on here for months acting like know it alls telling people excited about getting a new job all your wrong information. I hope your happy at your next job, we are all counting on you leaving this one.
