The only time PSA was offered 900's, it was voted down back in 2006-2007. And republic got bunch if E jets out of it. This is the second time they're offering. Many thinks it'll be the last time they'll come to us. I won't be surprised. But I personally don't want to contribute to the race to bottom so I voted no. Possible earlier upgrades were VERY tempting to say the least...
PSA was offered 900's twice. last time was around '10 or so?! '06-'07 I believe the J4J's assisted in voting that crap deal down. The 2nd time was with Mesa in BK and US was dangling the carrot of the mesa 900's to PSA but they needed a pay rate. PSA voted that in, and they then went to mesa and told them to beat it....which they did

While in BK Mesa as a company may have beat whatever offer your speaking of but the pilots did not take any concessions to do so. Mesa Pilots accepted no concessions while in BK. As a matter of fact after it was announced we were losing the last of our 200's we flew for US JO sent out an email saying we lost them because "key employee groups would not accept concessions to keep them", even though to my knowledge the pilots were never asked to do so.

In other words if no one gives in to management, the planes will go where they would have anyhow, lowest bidder. So don't concede anything, the lowest bidder is higher today than will be tomorrow if anyone gives into management. PSA TA guarantees pay cuts for only one CRJ 900by 2016. It is clear you are being used to lower the bar further so management goes to the other group for more cuts to match you. No one gives in, simple. Want to fly big jets get on your computer and fly.

Anyone else want the 27th to get here so these other jack monkeys get out of this thread. PSA could have shut down and NONE of these guys would have known nor cared.... PSA got a contract and has voted down 900s before and ignorance comes into this thread saying we've accepted substandard rates before and will again? Funny how these know it alls know everything about PSA now yet yesterday they knew nothing but pretend they did.....
Anyway just an observation from an actual PSA pilot unlike you fools hijacking a thread, mostly AE ****ed off pilots, because for the first-time ever you lost scope at AA but brag about taking no cuts in bankruptcy. Guess you lost track you should have secured scope but your senior pilots know they have theirs..... How's that new E175 look at RAH in AE colors? The Expressjet and Skywest CRJ200?
Congrats on your great bankruptcy contract as you allowed the most important thing AE had going which was your scope hold on AA connection flying. Here's to RAH and getting their AE 70+ E175s and the soon to be ORD takeover.... Well played by Bedford.
Tony saved y'all there didn't he? Yeah thought so. Thanks for your advice as a group as its working out great for you all as RAH, SKW, and Xjet are taking flying. How's that LAX base for AE? Damn that's another casualty of scope being lost....

Well Meyers, seems like you have it all figured out. There's probably nothing in this world you don't know either. While there are some on here just trolling around, many others have given sound advice...which you totally disregard and disrespect people. There's just no talking to you.
You will get everything you deserve one way or another with your attitude. Best of luck to you pilot group, it would be better served without you.

AA had scope for only 47 CRJ 700 and to be flown American Eagle Airline pilots, they also had SCOPE restriction that if a regional bad airframes larger than 50 seaters on their certificate they couldn't fly 50 seaters for AA. The AA pilots didn't give this away, the judge threw away the APA CBA and this is how this was lost. Now as far as AE, we had guys roll over and have the company 30+ million in concesion but kept longevity and pay rates. But we did take a compensation hit, the W2 have shrunk.
Pinnacle guys went to the judge, Eagle guys didn't!
PSA is voting for concessions in return for airplanes to possibly do Flying another regional currently does, you are being asked by a profitable Airline making record profits to underbid other pilot groups while there aren't pilots to replace you. PSA isn't being asked for cuts to keep what they have, you are being asked to undercut other regionals. We don't know if the airplanes are growth or replacements since the bullet language is weak and leaves much to the imagination.
It's a turd and you can polish it all you want. Eagke guys rolled over the first time and stood up the second time, Pinnacle guys caught like hell but rolled over when the big hammer was brought out. I am straight shooter and gladly debate with you about facts anytime!
I don't care about what PSA did in the past, I care about what PSA will do over the next two weeks as you vote to underbid other regionals or stand your ground!!!

I'm an AE guy but not one of the chest thumpers around here but I find it funny how you went on a rant about people talking about stuff and they don't know the facts, well sir you don't understand SCOPE.

Ok Jackwagon, I voted on that first offer for the 900's. So I might know a thing or two about it. I wasn't there for the 2nd vote. But talking to a few of the guys I believe I remember them saying that essentially the 900 rate was below what Mesa was flying them for. You guys were in Section 6, but all of a sudden management wanted to do a cut out and negotiate a 900 pay scale. Why was that? The reason said was so that they could goto Mainline management and show that you guys were on board to fly the 900's and they had pay rates for them now. I.E. the old excuse. Well we need to know what it's going to cost to run them at the airline so lets negotiate something first.
I recall the little pow wow meetings PSA Sr. capts were having in the E concourse. I knew them and still know them. As I commuted in and out of there, normal conversation would come up about it. And what do they say. We just need to get this vote in, so we can get the 900's here. We can worry about the pay later.
Now Mr. PSA, why don't you post up the 900 rates that you guys agreed to?

And how the hell do you "vote on rates" but not on airplanes? If your negotiating a pay rate for a new airframe on the property.....there is usually some discussion on the airplanes being flown on that property.
So why don't you have your NC negotiate some A320 rates....?!?!?
