Like I said, if it was no strings attached, I don't think there was any harm in saying yes. They'd have been back.

If they were trying to attach it to some CCP settlement, oh hellz no.....
30 per class? Seems unlikely but maybe it's the hub bases. On the bright side if they shut down PSA and move all the flying to Mesa they will probably have to reopen the CLT base so PSA guys won't have to move.
Also means no more living in the moldy clarion in DAY or sitting hot reserve in the Crew Closet

Go to their Facebook where on weds they posted a picture of their new hire class. I can count 30 plus people. Remember they are doing it for less than PSA when you think we have leverage.

Well like most people say the most important part of choosing a regional is the base. Apparently it's working for Mesa.

I wish PSA knew how far a real base would go for bringing in pilots.

Things have changed very quickly for them(mgmt). When they made the decision on the CVG base, which was an awful idea, the environment that they observed was very different from what is happening today.

Somehow the pilots knew it was a bad idea and the guys that supposedly get paid to know what they are doing did not.

I think that the decision to stop hiring FOs and go to DECs pretty much exclusively for 4-5 months was a bigger mistake than they realize.

I think they should open next base in CMH, that way they can keep it close to home.

ORD would of been our best hope to continue hiring FOs. Now, I'm not sure even that would matter since we have become rather stagnant. Not when SkyWest and GoJet have ORD and pay a whole lot more.

This is from a post in Jan based off the prior seniority list. This current upgrade award went within a few seniority numbers of hitting 2010 hires. If we still have at least 150 upgrades to award this year, there are 105 FO's spanning all of 2010-2014. So unless 50 who have bypassed decide to jump into the mix, it will go to 2015 hires before the end of the year. Over 200 pilots will be leaving next year just to delta plus other companies. 2016 pilots will upgrade in 2017. With no additional growth.

FO's at 9E

Year
93-06 : 21
07 : 136
08 : 88
09 : 0
10 : 29
11 : 54
12 : 0
13 : 0
14 : 22
15 : 257

^^Someone posted this in the Endeavor thread. Endeavor has the highest comp, guaranteed interview with Delta and now a short upgrade.
