On good sources, we aren't taking any more 700s from ENY in 2016. Possibly in 2017 as well.

Sounds like after the 900s thats it.

Probably won't be announced until this fall though for fear it scares more FOs away...

I thought it was already announced a while ago that we aren't receiving any more 700s this year. As for next year, that probably depends on whether they are able to hire more. Until then it's speculation.

They deferred 2 or 3 officially from I think Sept to Jan, but that didn't stop us from originally taking 2-3 a month for Oct, Nov and Dec.

It's all speculation until it happens.

They already announced the stoppage of crjs through 16.

If PSA can staff it they will continue to move over there in 2017.

Any word on what your hiring has been like the past month? Is there any indication the 121 poaching plan is working?

The message from DF a month ago said they are deffering 6 700s until January 2017 so we will be at 115 a/c this year after the rest of the 900s show up but I doubt we will see any fleet growth in 2017 either unless recruiting picks up. They will eventually transfer the 35 700s and park or contract out the 35 200s. PSA will probably never get much bigger than 115 a/c and therefor the flow will stay at 60/year.

Still working on time building but your recruiters said you want 1000 pilots this year and I can upgrade as soon as I get the time. Is this not the case anymore?

Nope. Other FOs are just now getting their minimums and are taking the upgrade. These FOs are senior to the most junior CA. See the PSA APC page for their seniority.

Yes and no. Currently upgrades have grind to a halt but should continue again this summer. With attrition levels spiking at pretty much every regional you shouldnt have to wait long to upgrade anywhere. Unless you live in base I wouldnt recommend this place.

The most recent junior captain to upgrade and make it to the line has 700 pilots below him on the seniority list. This month, the upgrade class had 4 pilots in it. If those numbers remained constant, the most junior pilot on the most recent seniority list would be eligible for upgrade in 14.6 years.

Your mileage may vary.
