Or stay put and let parker brainwash and pimp you some more.

So many people are being hired by American outside of any type of flow until it's not even funny. If the wo"s aren't able to stay properly staff either some planes will go elsewhere or the so called flow will stop all together or both.

It's only a matter of time.Leave now or wait a year and WISH you would have left now.

What major do you work at?

This is not true. AA hired only a little more than 100 pilots off the street last year. This year, its only going to be about 300 OTS hires. Take out the slots that go to military, specially connected, and others with "special qualifications" and that leaves us with about 100 off the street position for the average pilot for the entire year. That is a three percent of those seeking employment. Say what you want about PSA flow, its still better than 3%. Going 2017 forward, AA will be back to around 350 - 400 OTS hires, but one will still be competing with thousands of other pilots.

You're just trolling... Or you're a paranoid alarmist. Either way you should be taken with a grain of salt.

You think so tough guy? Email contract enforcement and see what they have to say about it.

FC, I think you aren't understanding Pagey's posts. If I understand correctly.......Pagey doesn't operate outside the contract, informs CS and CP that the contract is being violated but they don't care. He then goes to the union and gets no backing. Pagey please set me straight if I'M misunderstanding you.

Well of course I operate within the contract. It was more in response to the folks on here who make it seem so easy just to give a "FU I'm not doing that" to the company. The section I mentioned could not be more black and white, yet is violated consistently, and the union allows it. Good luck with something a little muddier.

In this particular case I tried to go to bat for an FO. It didn't work.

That's where I think FC is misunderstanding you. From his posts he's implying you don't know the contract and don't hold the company and union accountable. Usually I like his sarcasm and keyboard warrior bravado. This time he's way off the mark.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the worst I ever saw it was I said no to a scheduling matter and they said something along the lines of "well you will just have to talk to the chief pilot about that" and I said have them call me and that was the end of it.

If everyone is to scared to operate within the contractual boundaries that were negotiated in good faith between the two parties, I'm not sure what that says about this pilot group. What's the point of even bothering to negotiate anything further if that is your attitudes. I'm disappointed in some of you.

And Pagey you going to bat for an FO means nothing, it doesn't involve you personally.

Don't we have any union people on here? Take it public.
