There's probably more cities with their own income tax than you'd think.

That is not the case in many Ohio cities. In some cities the ordinance requires you to file two local tax returns but employer only withholds for one city.

In some cases the city you live in will allow a credit of taxes already paid to the work city. In some cities if you live there the rate might be higher than the work city and you owe the difference.

It was more the not hiring of FO's. Once those gears got stagnant it hasn't ever gotten up and running again. A forward-thinking management team would have paid the short term price of over-staffing by continuing the hiring ball they had rolling in order to ensure long-term success of the airline.

We have what, about 60 or so DEC's? They had no FO's eligible for upgrade and needed to do something to staff the left seat. If we still had FO's coming in the doors like we did before they cut things off then we'd easily be upgrading 20-30 guys every month and the DEC deal would have just meant a few more months for upgrade for most guys plus less reserve since the DEC's are stuck below everyone.

It's the one mistake our management openly admits to. Good ole mom n pop thinking.

I'm glad they can admit to the mistake. In the mean time the chips keep getting stacked on top of that bad mistake. They better do something big and soon to kick start the engine again.

Maybe once endeavor starts with the street captains they will, but by then it will be too late. I don't see an extra 500 a month keeping fo's from leaving for a ca slot elsewhere. Guys I'm flying with have 0 allegiance to this place especially with the value that's been placed on them. An extra 23 grand a year plus direct entry, tough to beat.

Management would be served well by getting in front of this because as soon as/if Endeavor starts hiring street captains, it's over.

Why would Endevour be hiring street captains? Last I heard is that there are still plenty of senior FO's still waiting to upgrade.

I would too.

This has been a painful experience. Far more painful than it should have been.
