Most worthless SAP I've ever seen, and never a heard from the union or company. Looks like gun slinging TR has already been whipped by the company. This place is the biggest joke in aviation.

Yea this one was kind of the enigma for me. Good high credit/commutable trips in open time, but I didn't snag a single one. I literally had over 50 denials (so was I working the SAP or did the SAP work me?). I'm either going to end up with a 100 hour line and 9 days off or a 90 hour line and 11 days off. Still waiting for a couple requests to process. I can usually manage 100+ hours and 11 days off or 65 hours and 18 off but this time just didn't work out great for me. I'd be SAPin down to 65 and picking up more shifts at my second job if it weren't slow right now. The wife just told me a couple months ago that she was starting back school and was signed up for classes. So that means I have to work more.

Even after you hold a line, the SAP is worthless.

The management is hostile towards pilots, and will threaten you if you try to call in sick or fatigued, or if you refuse an extension.

If you use more than a few sick days a year, you will be written up (you can not use the sick hours that you accrue without being sent a letter of warning).

The recruiters will lie to you.

Your Union will not support you.

(In some cases, our recruiters are also union officials, which shows the level of hypocrisy with both groups)

If you are considering coming to PSA, be aware that you will be stuck on reserve for a LONG time. You will be capped at 4 year pay, and will not upgrade for years. You will never flow to American.
Oh wow this one is even better When you only think about yourself, things like this happen in the long term

I would have better words to tell you but my professional integrity wont allow me to stoop to your level.

But hey whatever helps you sleep at night Mr. God's gift to aviation

You know it's bad when the pilot group quits *****ing. It's like the calm before the storm.

The only reason Endeavor has what it has now is because 500+ left in 5 months. The only reason they got more is because they need to bring the 200's back for a while to cover the Republic flying. Anyone who thinks Delta is opening the wallet out of the kindness of their hearts is sniffing glue. Endeavor is probably a good spot for a young new hire right now, but wait till Delta onboards those 75 new narrowbodies. The lateral movement, which I was a part of that 500, only perpetrates the bonuses. If and big if PSA experiences a max exodus then Doug & friends will probably do what Delta did. I'd bring up Delta's history with contractors, but then someone will tell me times are different now.

As far as the SAP goes, that's a union issue to which I say, what union? Our MEC should be embarrassed with how it's own Pilot group feels about them. Spare me the arbitration talk and that being the only path to any resolution. Quit signing LOA's that bail the company out. They will take as much rope as you give them. Wouldn't you?

It's really none of your business. If you want to concern yourself with productive things just do your job and stop kissing the company's but.

After messaging pilots on the board I have came to the conclusion PSA recruiters are not telling the full truth. Thanks to those who have messaged me and answered questions. I will NOT be joining the PSA ranks as there are way better options. Thanks for the help guys and gals!

I would say you have made a wise choice. Had a PSA guy on the JS a couple days ago. It was insane the amount of stuff he was going on about over there. Unreal, but not surprising given they, basically, are being managed by AA who are 100% clueless.
