I feel like some of you guys are just trying to paint PSA as a horrible place so nobody shows up and then hope we can use it as leverage for negotiating. Honestly besides first year FO pay I haven't had to much to complain about over the last two years. Yeah SAP is slow but I have always gotten off every day I've ever needed. Management sucks but it does at every regional. Upgrades have slown down but the company will make us more competitive it just might not be as quick as we want it to be, but they will have to come around. It's always going to be cheaper for us to operate aircraft over paying other companies because they have to make a profit too it's simple business. If Rebubilc and PSA both offer $40 an hour for first year pay, American makes more if that flight is done by PSA. The planes will show up here it just might not be the original timeline.

There are still 7 more 900's coming this year. Who knows for certain what will happen if we don't have proper staffing levels to operate them all. Possibly park a few 200's for a while is what I heard could happen.

Finally, someone who gets it. Thank You for writing this. To anyone who is thinking about coming here. Just go to a place that has a base where you want to live because commuting to a regional is a terrible life. Every single regional is the exact same way. I remember back in 06 when Eagle was trying to sell the Flow to mainline to everybody while they had flowbacks on property from American. These regionals will do anything they can to find bodies. They only thing that has made this place tolerable to me has been living in base.

The kool-aid is strong with this one.

How do you feel about the company stealing thousands of dollars from you by not honoring the contract when it comes to critical pay?

How do you feel about money getting stolen from you with the new ACARS times programming (must move a substantial distance from the gate to start getting paid)?

How do you feel about the company forcing illegal extensions, and threatening to fire people if they won't accept them?

How do you feel about the manipulation of the reserve grid so that it is almost impossible to swap trips after the SAP closes?

How do you feel about the 10 hour 4 day trips?

How do you feel about the company purposely slowing the SAP to the point that it is just about worthless?

I am glad that the SAP worked for you, but there were many pilots that were screwed by this and ended up with a terrible schedule. Will you say the same thing next month when you get all denials and no approvals?

Should I go on? I can...

Hotels?

Lying recruiters?

The company goes to great lengths on a regular basis to show their disdain for us.

This has been my experience as well and it's not as bad as some on here make it out to be. Is it a fantastic regional? No, but which one is? My schedule is what I want it to be every month and make what I thought I would when I came here.

I'll let you know after the arbitration is done

I just ACARS the dispatcher with the time & the CP

How do you feel about the company forcing illegal extensions, and threatening to fire people if they won't accept them?

I've turn down a couple with no threat of being fired

How do you feel about the manipulation of the reserve grid so that it is almost impossible to swap trips after the SAP closes?

I have had some success with swaps, but we are hurting for FOs so that will mess up the grid

How do you feel about the 10 hour 4 day trips?

I avoid those crap trips

How do you feel about the company purposely slowing the SAP to the point that it is just about worthless?

Really, do you have proof of this?

What proof do you have that they intentionally slow down the SAP?

How about the fact that no computer produced in the last decade should ever take 5+ hours to process simple transactions? It may not be intentional of the company but they surely aren't lightning a big enough fire under Flica/Sabres ass, as this works in the company's favor.

Thank you for posting something honest and reasonable. Compared to all the other regionals, PSA is actually a good place to work at. We deal with some tough working conditions at times, but so does every other regional pilot. I remain positive about my career and future outlook. The airline industry and career outlook has improved tenfold from what it was not too long ago. If you're not happy, make a move, places are hiring.

Again, what proof do you have that they intentionally slow down SAP?

How about the denial message that said "nice try". That's not automated. That's a manual transaction. Not real time.
