They pay out the new hire signing bonus. They do not pay new hires the FO retention bonus.

Thanks Chris, I guess the retention bonus starts after 1 year of employment?

Nope. My understanding is the new hires just get the signing bonus, no retention bonus. Maybe by that time a new one will be in place though, who knows.

Nope. It's only for FOs currently on property. As of now no new hires will get the retention but will get the new hire bonus.

The retention bonus is paid out quarterly (Starting May 1st, it should be paid out August 20th). That is only paid to FOs that were on property as of May 1st. No new hire will get this.

The new hire bonus is different, and no one seems to know when/how.

Where can someone find the specifics?

I heard from a union guy flying with the other day that sick calls make one ineligible.

Ask about it on the new union forum, or the FB group. Someone on there should have an answer.
