If management is fine with not having an airline in very short order they are welcome to not talk to us (beyond this upcoming flow chat) until the contract is amendable again. A negotiated contract does not somehow negate the market vastly changing during that time period.

Oh you mean that guy that instead of complaining on internet message boards about how much he hates his job instead is actually doing something to improve our contract? No but he has my support even when he gets FPL. I thought you were quitting APC anyway CLT Guy?

Just remember how many people completed your stupid survey on time.
That is how many people support you and and think that what you are doing is worth while. The rest realize that you are just in it for yourselves, stealing money from hard working pilots so you can get paid to not fly.
If you want pilots to support the MEC, tell them what is going on!
Answer the following questions truthfully...
What is going on with the flow negotiations? When are you meeting with the company and when will we hear something? Where are we with the CCP arbitration? What can we do to hurt the company so that we can get more out of them?
We have the worst critical pay/open time pick up policies of all of the WO airlines. What are we doing about it?

But to answer some of your questions: before they extended the survey we had nearly twice the response rate that MEC elections get, so there's that.
As for what's going on, you get the Fastreads? Do you listen to the conference calls? Do you submit questions via email and/or call in? TR is usually pretty candid when he can be.

Everyone on here seems to think I'm someone that I'm not.

I've got zero first hand knowledge. Why don't you email a question in for the conference call?
Apparently you and FirstClass went to the same school of labor relations. You know, the one where they tell you to ignore Federal Law and just make up ****. Oh, and ask questions of MEC members to random screen names on APC.
We have the worst soft time because the company has decided to ignore the contract. We filed a grievance. We're still waiting. None of this is news.

I have asked, and there are no answers. I have listened to the conference calls, and asked questions. No answers. Just more double talk (plus 1000 "um's", "uh's" and other stammering remarks).
The fastreads have absolutely no useful information.
We get lots of "information", but nothing useful. It is just people talking to hear themselves talk.
We can do plenty to up our bet without violating federal law. Look at what the other airlines do.

Or just continue to whine on APC.
I wonder which would be more productive?

While I stand behind the AAWH guys fully, you think Mr and Mrs Airline Traveler walking through the E concourse gives a crap about you?
They're not going to care until flights start cancelling because of lack of crews, which has apparently already happened. Hopefully AAG starts to care before then, but I have my doubts.
