I'm looking at PSA, but I live between ORD and MKE. Wondering how bad it would be commuting to reserve as a new guy. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you're driving distance to ORD there's really no reason not to go to Envoy. Reserve in base is far better than commuting to a line, or God forbid commuting to reserve.

Over time the time on reserve, to upgrade, and to flow *should* be similar regardless of which of the wholly owneds you're at.

For what its worth, the commute between ORD and DAY isn't bad (DAY is a junior base). Between United and AA, there are usually 10+ flights a day.

And with DAY being very junior, reserve times are much less there.

Or he could be based in ORD with comparable pay and not commute.... just sayin. But yes, the DAY commute is easy(ish) since, I believe, some are company airplanes.

How hard would it be to get CVG as a new hire? I live 1 1/2 hour from CVG. Is reserve callout 2 hour for all bases?

Tys has 1 hour call out. You can hold cvg before you finish training.

I think he meant Envoy as an option, since they have an ORD base
