Looks like the verbiage says "up to $58,500," which is 20K plus 1,000 hours credit at $38.50.

Isn't 1000 credited hours pretty optimistic for a pilots first year considering some of that is going to be training, IOE, reserve, etc?

Extremely optimistic...especially with PSA reserve life.

You could expect getting a line soon after training, which would enable you to credit well above min guarantee. Also keep in mind that you'll get 24hr a day per diem while in training. I know you're not supposed to count that but I put most of that in my pocket.

Perdiem? That might help.

Can help the wallet if you eat cheap but not considered salary. I'm thinking they may have counted the $3000 per year hotel allowance?

75 hours a month for a year is 900 hours. Not that big of a difference all things considered.

They're not including hotel reimbursement nor per diem as part of their first year numbers. Retention bonus isn't until 2nd year.

It's no different than the "flow to AA in 4 years" fantasy math they were marketing before. Managers with basic math skills are as difficult to hire, as those who can spell the word "hangar" in context correctly.
