Possibly, but anyone that gets their information from APC has bigger issues than not carrying charts.

Company not punished.
Uhhhh wrong. You get violated by the FAA on a check, ASAP is not going to save your butt. And ASAP does not always save your butt when you mess up.

Default Upcoming interview

Have an interview coming up, and trying to know what to expect.
When do you docall the company related things, Such as Pria, paperwork, and ect. ???? Are all the company related things done arriving at training, if the position is offered. Or, do they knock some of it out at the interview. Appreciate any insight.

They will tell everything you need to bring to the interview. If they tell you to bring 2 copies, bring 4. Make sure everything looks neat. PRIA is handled in your first week of class along with drug test and other indoc necessities.

PM me with other questions if you have them.

Great advice.

Personally, I brought all of the documents in a folder, in the order requested. I had a second folder with just spare copies of everything.

I also suggest bringing several copies of your resume and handing it to each person on the interview panel. If you have a digital logbook, print out the "summary" and attach it to your resume.

This is not necessary, but it shows that you are putting forth some effort and want the job. If you are serious about the interview, you will also take indoc and your other training seriously.

There are A LOT of people being interviewed in the next couple of weeks. Although it is likely that anyone that shows potential will get hired, your goal should be to get hired and in class as quickly as possible.

In 2014, the difference in 3 months of class date meant almost 100 seniority numbers. That will affect when you can hold a line, when you upgrade, and when you flow.

In 2014, most of the classes (at least from the summer on) seemed to be about 50% lateral transfers from other airlines and 50% new to the airlines. This seemed to be planned, and seemed to work well.

What are your thoughts on this? Was this beneficial? Should they keep doing it?

I think your giving "them" to much credit. They hired everyone in sight.
