So let me get this straight...

-No contract for 6 years and management won't deal with you...

-Voted 99% to Strike...

-NMB won't broker a negotiation or release you from work...

-Republic Holdings sends a letter to all majors telling them not to hire
you...

Did I get it all? About as close to indentured servitude as I have ever seen. Of course, anybody truly unhappy, are free to walk.

Dont forget the 11 to 40 percent increase in health insurance along with a switch to a company that is known to constantly reject claims.

BUT, employees can send in their "awesome" travel stories for the company to use in their soon-to-be-published "travel newsletter" (READ: propaganda to be used for FA recruitment and retention)

This is a perfect example of the company using their resources to attract new hires instead of actually taking the time to improve the worst travel benefits of any comparably-sized regional airline.

Don't believe me about the "worst travel benefits" part? Well, as an example, Great Lakes employees have higher nonrev priority on Frontier than RAH's regional employees. Nice, huh?

No, all regionals are NOT the same.

It's like some of you guys have never left Indianapolis. Hate to break it to you and the union but health insurance is going up everywhere.

Thanks we are aware of the health insurance cost inflation. At this time, the employee +1 health insurance with the lowest copay would wipe out a new hire two week paycheck. Combine the increase in health insurance costs at this company, the new fees we pay for travel, and a few other ancillary executive pocket-padding fees and FOs here are significantly worse off than in 2003 when this CBA was signed. Don't forget we don't get COLA of any kind, and are frozen on pay scale.

You'll find that many RAH pilots try not to go to IND, ever...

IND and RAH make MEM and Pinchanickle look like heaven. The new company premiums for health insurance are easily 6-10 times higher than what we had at Pinnacolaba. I will now be looking at Obamacare health exchanges in my state for something better and hopefully more affordable. It's exactly what BB wants for his employees though. How they can post these plans and say they are of benefit to anyone is criminal. For those guys thinking of coming here Ronaldo isn't joking... The lowest cost option for healthcare will leave you with approximately $450-500 after taxes next year...that's a month... Not every paycheck...

God Bless.

Well, then we can bring that up in the "Questions about 'everywhere'" thread.

This is the "Republic Questions" thread and his point was relevant.

Alright, it's about time that letter is either displayed to all or the rumor is put to rest.

The good folks here have a remarkable talent at posting sensitive or proprietary materials online, so I'd like to see this one.

Are you talking about the already public documents that were filed with the SEC that the IBT "released"?

While they were chastised for releasing the "restricted" documents, the exact same documents were filed with the SEC. Even the ones that admitted to illegal activity! Hence why the penalty wasn't that bad.

Honestly, I"m not that well informed. I have no idea which ones you're referring too.

I'd just like to know where I can see a letter where Republic management asked legacy carriers not to hire their pilots.

I know a memo went out in company, saying that it never happened, and proof should be provided. Proof is a fair burden in any accusation.

Can you link to it?
