Quote: What is needed is a 1224 wide seniority list based on original 1224 company DOH. Not DOH when you were hired, but DOH when your company came under 1224. That way when DHL swaps jet amongst 1224 pilot groups, affected 1224 pilots will go to the acquiring airline with their 1224 seniority for pay, bidding and benefits. It's the only fair thing to do for affected 1224 pilots.
Nice thought, but even within ATSG it doesn't work that way. How is it you imagine 1224 dictating employees to four or more different companies?

Quote: My resume has been on file since early last year when FOQ was completed (last January 2013). I have 3000TT, 2000 jet, am a regional FO puke with an internal recommendation from a 74 line CA. I update every 3 months. I've heard nothing. Not that I really feel competitive at all with the myriad other, more highly qualified folks out there. Just sharing my experience since we're probably close to drowning in the same boat. I'm also a MIA guy so we probably work out of the same crew room. I will say, though, that the guy who sent my stuff in DID get an email that said my packet had been taken off the pile and is in the "pool" to take the online test! That was exciting but also was about 6 months ago. So, take that for whatever it's worth.
Until the ABX preferential hiring is worked out, Atlas should do the right thing and withhold off the street hiring to preserve ABX pilots seniority at Atlas.

ATI is ALPA, so screw them. This is about 1224.

I'm sure Bill Flynn and Atlas HR is going to get right on that.

He would if your exco would pressure him. You flippant response just shows how happy Atlas guys truly are at getting ABX's flying.

I lost my job in 2008 due to a shift in flying to a competitor. The worst thing you can do is point fingers at other pilots; we had no say in who got the award, and we are not jumping for joy. Point your finger elsewhere.

Wow, just wow. About 70 are ALSO 1224.

Folks, don't even bother. If this thing had an 'ignore' button mine would be tuned to Brand X. Applying logic and reason only serves to encourage these types of trolls. There is nothing constructive in this narrative toward the thread's intended purpose.

Hey. If you want to do something truly useful while living there in fantasy land, any chance you can stop by finance and see if they'll expense Alaskan Bush Company charges?

When last Atlas (the COMPANY) offered preferential treatment, it was NOT preferential HIRING, rather 1224 pilots were offered preferential interviews. Once in the interview process, it was up to the individual to earn the job, just as any other candidate. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest you might want to dial it back, else you wouldn't make it through.
