Quote: It’s amendable in July and no details have been put out yet. All I’ll say is it’s up to them to stop the attrition of pilots or it’ll get even more ugly for the operation.
With the amount of hiring going on at JetBlue, wouldn't that be way out pacing attrition ?

You can't be serious now! Come on!

Quote: The 320 seems hit or miss, mostly depending on how many instructors call out sick/get covid. The 220 is hard to tell, they have the second sim going now but only the last two classes have had a significant number of people get the 220, so there's not really enough people in training for there to be a backlog. The 190 sims seem to be in a constant rotation of taking turns breaking.
220 has been running upgrades and FO transitions. Now that thats caught up new hires are going into it. Very little delays with 220 training.

Most junior lines are going to 12/2019 - 1/2020 hires. That includes a year of no hiring. It should improve given the planned 2022 schedule that is heavier than ever and hiring 600 new pilots.

Attrition for 2022 so far has been 1 pilot PER DAY!

Don’t worry the company isn’t concerned [emoji849]

So, when do CBA negotiations start? With inflation in double digits, I expect no less than 15% raises across the board.

Early openers are up to 180 days prior to the amendable date, which is August 1st. Like I said a few days ago…$369 top CA, $269 top FO. By the time a TA gets reached and inflation rises even more…we may be there. And we should have some ties for our rates to at a minimum track the CPI/inflation in perpetuity, not just through the next amendable date.
