sad but true.
How does that work?

Quote: I'd ask some recruiters first. Give them a call and ask them what you need to do to be hireable.

My only concern is that you may not make it through the CAs review board. From the stories I have heard recent experience has be one of the few sticking points for the CA review board.

Thanks for the heads up!

I appreciate all of the replies. Looks like I've definitely got some homework to do.

WOW. . . I was suppose to be in that class. Decided to go for a better QOL (for me). Looks like I would have been ORD in the 175.... Great plane, but that commute is a NO GO for me. Good luck class, safe skies.

Would getting an interview/job offer be a challenge?
Training?

Just dipping my toes in the pool at the moment trying to gauge the temperature.
Not a big deal. I was out of flying for 11 years and got hired. Rented a C172 with an instructor for 2 hours and did a biennial flight review, 1 hour in a frasca sim and went to the interview. The hardest part, other than seeing the instruments in my old age, was getting back into the ground school part. And commuting...

If you ever want back in, this is probably the time to do it.
